Shapeshifters after Most Feared

Based on what we know it really isn't clear what happens to the Shapeshifter cards after 11/3. The cards say they "get nerfed" and don't transform any more.

My gut feeling is that they are going to revert to the FB/SS positions at 90 OVR and will lose the any position / any team chemistry attributes. Anyone else have some theories on what is going to happen?

I'm trying to figure out if I should buy all the tokens for 2 x shapeshifters and Maxx Crosby, or perhaps just enough for the 2 shifters and then move the other tokens to Crosby when MF ends.

I agree.  EAs lack of communication is very frustrating here.  I was running a 55 Pats TT.  With the number of Pats cards that got MF chems with the first drop, I decided to go to 50 Pats/20 MF.  I pulled 90 Moss from one of the reward BND packs and also pulled  Gesicki and Peppers BND, based on leaks, there are no more Pats coming in the next 2 drops, so I don’t have much to save candy for.  I’ve used all my candy to max out Crosby and the two Shapeshifter.  Any additional upgrade tokens I earn when part 2 drops, will go into Shazier.  I’ll stack candy for the rest of the promo and then do whatever I can to turn it into coins, and we’ll see what happens to the shapeshifters fully upgraded.  I doubt that EA gives us that many “free” long term top tier cards, and I feel like they will get dropped down further than 90 OVR, but we’ll see……

I feel like they may just switch into 90 and 89 respectively ovr players at SS or FB or one of the postions and obvs lose the blanket stats they'll be actual players and lose the mf boost

Shapeshifter is my starting rg with run protect ability. Only thing I can think of is prices going up maybe. I wouldn't understand why they would take away anything else.

Official information is lacking. Since the Shapeshifters become specific players on key dates, they may end up losing their 'wildcard' capacity both in terms of team chemistry and position chemistry.

Your idea of accumulating only two full sets of Most Feared Upgrade Tokens may have merit.

MUTLeaks leaked that the Shapeshifters are Reggie Gilliam (Bills FB) and Grant Delpit (Browns Safety). I assume that they will lose the secondary positions (minus HB for the FB and FS for the SS) and go to those normal players (height, weight, name, player model, etc). also they will lose the ability buckets for the other positions (Gilliam will lose the Oline abilities and Delpit will lose the Dline abilities). I'm not 100% sure if they will lose all 32 team chems or not, I feel like those might stay.

any update on this topic.. Ravens Flock thanks that's helpful info.. I never did them but trying to decide if they are going to turn into something useful if I should.. also everyone speaks highly of crosby and I didn't get that.. but I am all Eagles TT so I don't see the point with constant other cards coming out..

Nope, but my plan is to wait - they get “nerfed” on 11/3 and the candy store is open until 11/6 so we can get some more info before our last chance for tokens.

My gut says they become plain 90 OVR FB and SS and lose every unique perk

Shape shifters become Jevon Kearse and Nick Chubb after MF has concluded

Thanks.. so we can wait to get the tokens after they show who they are? .. should I get Max Crosby? I do eagles TT so haven't yet but I keep seeing people say hes a must have..

is this posted anywhere or just an educated guess on the fact that Mut Leaks leaked card art of those two and their card hasn't come out and Most Feared is over so it has to be them?

Yeah I hav heard its Reggie Gilliam who is a FB and then Grant Delpit who is a SS.. but they both already have cards and Delpit has a card already that's right near that OVR number of 90..
