Has anyone thought of selling off their expensive cards before MLB Show 25 comes out? I’m still planning on playing Madden, I may just spend more time on the Show grind and less on online Madden play.
Are you selling cards ahead of MLB Show 25?

Same thing I do. I’ll pay attention to a couple more fun promos like Easter and Rookie Premier, a little draft night stuff. Other than that MLB tends To be way more fun.
Do you know if sets will return to MLB the Show?
I sold off all my LTDs and combine cards. I’m sitting on 40 million coins and may come back for golden tickets if the Show gets slow.
I’m a believer in DDA now more than ever. I stripped my squad down to BNDs and Super Bowl cards and ripped off 14 wins in MUT Champs against some of the softest players imaginable. Only 4 or 5 god squads in 20 games versus 14 or 15 usually. Go figure…

Sets might but Seasons are gone for good. Back to year long progression.
MLB the show doesn't pull all the bullshit EA does, might have to hop on.

That's extremely interesting, were you playing MUT Champs over this past weekend? I have been kind of going the opposite direction, mostly just grinding House Rules while I wait for my Squad-mates, buying up as many of the TOTY set pieces as seems reasonable, so i can begin working towards the Completionist sets. I'm sure i'll be tempted to test out those cards, but half-hoping I can sell for profit. We shall see, kind of steep price of entry, hope these cards are elite.
I am always a bit slow to react to the markets, didn't realize MLB The Show was coming up soon, I should have been selling off my pricier Combine LTDs over the weekend.
Baseball seems incredibly boring in real life
Is that MLB vidoe game fun?

Dont sell your Combine LTDs until they are being REDUXED
Combine are still the best cards
They are better than TOTY and Ultimate Legends still far...and might hold the best until Real Deals which also had built in X Factors/Tokens

Thanks for the solid advice -- nearly my entire squad is Combine players right now, although i've started working in a handful of TOTY here or there, mostly to save AP in other positions, but if someone wants to pay ~6-7M coins for Jenkins, i probably need to take the coins. We shall see... definitely not in a rush to fire sale these cards, although i am seriously considering replacing Poe at DT with new Hargrave, unless they screw him on ability stack. I love the finesse style rushers from interior.

The best sports game on the market and it’s not even close !!!! SDS shits on EA and 2K etc you can basically have an all 99 team for free and it’s suchhhh and easy and fun grind. I’ve been playing for about 7 or 8 years. Last year I was a World Series ranked player think I was ranked 400 something out of 300,000 players. it doesn’t even compare to Madden or 2K the game is A+++++

So a lot of the combine cards are end game
Look at Vernon Davis, the only thing he is missing is vanguard. He boosts himself to 99 speed and has Deep Elite, Short Elite, Honoary Lineman all for 0AP
There wont be a better TE until Golden tickets
Same for Poe...hes above 95 in all importnat cateogies, except speed, but hes a DT and he gets 0AP Inside Stuff, Secure Tackler...the only thing better than Poe would be a better discount on Colossus
Same for Jenkins...the only way he can improve is 0AP reinfocement instead of 1AP..plus maybe grows a few inches, but he is likely endgame with the booosts
I think for Sub LBS, Reinforcement + Secure Tackler is better than Universal coverage because it helps stop the run...even against the Freight Trains or Marcus Allen XFactor
1AP reinforcement + 0AP Midzone + 0AP Secure tackler is near end game for Sub LBs

Yeah it was this weekend. The perverse thing is the rewards are so good in house rules that the sweats are all in there.
MLBTS early access starts Thursday night.
