I am confused as to why there is a ban for selling a card for what someone is willing to pay for it? Some people have 30 million or 50 million coins and 4 million coins is not much to those people. If there is a problem with selling a card for too much, why is there not a cap on the selling price to avoid such situations? Aren't some cards or strategy items capped at a maximum selling price? I am just asking so I better understand the rules and why things are the way that they are.

EA has a (somewhat) standard 10x ceiling on LTD card prices. Given the 350k minimums on LTDs, the maxes tend to be between 3.8m (the minimal viable price for an LTD being 380k) and 4.5m. If the average price of an LTD grows, so does the max. Immediately upon the release of the Allen LTD present, a market price of 1.2m was establsihed (more than 100 were sold Christmas morning on the OP’s platform, XBOX).
EA bots will see any sale that’s 4x what the market is as a manipulation effort. Would it happen on an 80 OVR? Of course not. So couple a 4x of market with a 4.1m price and you’ll get a ban accusation.
Now, why is this a signal of coin distribution? Because 1) an LTD is the highest value card category that allows a coin buyer to acquire coins with minimal transaction activity and 2) coin sellers can resell that card to recoup the lost coins. Does it guarantee that’s what happened? Of course not. But bots don’t think, they act on fact patterns. The OP’s 4111111 price was more likely an attempt to trick buyers rather than buy coins, but stupidity, greed, and BS often result in the same penalties.

I like how you spelled that out numerically, i think ive fallen into both sides of that transaction. (The buncha 1's) Both were forever ago, (from sherman cover or so or older) but there was one morning i woke up a mut millionaire and was like what, how? And i had added a one or two.
There was one time I went to buy a card thinking it would be a few hundred k, turned out to be a few million. That day i woke up mut broke. Ebbs and flows. I think they have to get rid of bot enforcers, they dont even get rid of actual coin sellers, just inconvenience others.
I posted this up once before I think but this is a link to EAs Content Moderation and enforcement and a short excerpt from it specifically pertaining to bots and bans. Is that a band name? Should be.
“No actions taken against an EA Account, including bans, suspensions, and other actions like coin wipes, are automated.”
It’s gonna be hard for me to believe you weren’t intentionally trying to rip someone off by posting it 4,111,111 but you throw a letter together with the wording you are using and send it to EA it might work. Who knows? My first post of the new year is about bans? Let’s hope none of us experience that this year.
Happy New Year to all my fellow MUT degenerates!
So you bought coins or tricked someone into buying a card for 4000000 instead of 400000. lmaoooooo bye
If you are buying coins and have disposable income, or access to your parent's credit card, then more power to you. If you are intentionally being scummy, which the price you set would suggest, then I hope they make your ban a lifetime ban.

Yup almost happened to me the other day while using the mobile app . For some reason the 111,111 throw off what the price looks like . Why not post it for 4M even , unless you are trying trick someone

I agree, I have almost fallen for it as well. Not saying the OP did this, but people 100% use those amounts to try and trick people since so many people have millions of coins these days. I end up losing snipes all the time because I double, and triple check the prices and wait too long.
MomSpaghetti said:Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out to this community in hopes of finding any additional resources or advice regarding my recent ban from the Auction House in Madden. I’ve attempted to resolve this issue through EA’s customer support three times now, but each time I’ve been met with denials and a lack of transparency regarding the reasons behind the ban.
To give you some context, I’ve been actively trading in the Auction House and have sold multiple Limited Time Players, including Josh Allen, just before the ban was enforced. I was shocked to receive the ban, especially since I consistently invest in Madden Cash and have no knowledge or intention of engaging in coin distribution. At the time of the ban, my account had around 27,000 coins, and I had just sold the Josh Allen card for 4 million coins.
I’m feeling quite frustrated and confused about this situation, as I have always played the game fairly and within the rules. I’m hoping that someone here might have suggestions for other avenues I can explore to appeal this ban or any tips on how to effectively communicate with EA support for a clearer understanding of the issue.
Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can provide. I truly appreciate it!
I'm on the same boat as you are my friend.
I believe that I was banned for scooping up a bunch of 83's that started popping up at around 3am.
83s were going for around 11k right before Christmas and I was trying to complete the Stocking Stuffer set.
Right around 3am a bunch of 83s started popping up for around 7k, so I was buying them as fast as I could.
I ended up using the 83s to build the missing 87s needed for the set and was able to get the update tocken.
Next day I was banned.
No reason given.

I've submitted multiple appeals and none have been answered.
I kept going back to chat with EA customer service, but there's nothing they can do, they keep telling me to keep filing more appeals.
I tried to get EA Helps attention on X, but they ignored my messages.
I haven't spent much on the game, but I've also done nothing wrong.
And others don't care if it's not happening to them.
I will also file a complaint with the BBB so that they can at least look into it and I will also be writing a letter to Congress to have them look into EA (and others) who create unregulated in-game currency.
They exchange Madden Points for FIAT currency, they sell cards that they claim have no real value but the value is clearly stated bellow every set they sell in the store.

U Made a choice and now your suf the consequences from it. Not much else to be said. time to make a new account and move on or just call it quits
the madden 20 community would be so disappointed in u guys 🤦♂️
You may want to read Section 15 of the EA ToS carefully: https://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/#section15
Arbitration is generally going to be by written submission, so you'd better be a great writer, with a clear and concise story that an arbitrator can hear and understand conclusively that you did not violate the terms of service.
You have a right to request injunctive relief, which can mean your request in arbitration may theoretically include EA being prohibited from unilaterally banning you without directly engaging you in a dialogue concerning your use of EA systems. This is contingent on you proving that EA's current system for sanctions and bans isn't foolproof, which isn't quite the same as providing sufficient evidence that you didn't violate the terms of use.
Just some ideas floating around my head.
