Roaming Deadeye is 💯% what you want here. The only caveat being you need to get outside the pocket and be sure to release the R2 button (right trigger) for speed boost before hitting your receiver. It's a little glitchy, but dead simple to master. Letting off the speed boost a split second before throwing the ball will basically guarantee you get a perfect "blue" pass on every single release. Normal throws only, I believe High Ball will muck it up.
Apparently this has been sort of "broken" for years. I just learned about it recently, it's VERY difficult to defend when paired with sideline throws, or especially kicked up a notch if you're comfortable with QB Playmaker. I, unfortunately, was not, but nailing those perfect blue passes every single down was quick and easy to learn, even I could do that part. So really anybody can. I've been hesitant to share this advice, because it can be quite nasty.
Hop into practice mode, you'll have it down in 10 minutes, probably less. Lemme know what you think, but I had the exact same question after building Mahomes MVP set. The descriptions weren't super clear to me either, MUTgg gives different advice. Roaming all day, simply release the trigger and you're golden. 🏆

Great write up. But answer me one question - what is the benefit of choosing the ability where you have to let go of turbo over the one you don’t have to?

Dashing up to 40 yards. Roaming no limit.

Great. I was reading older threads about it and apparently there’s no cross body penalty either.
I prefer staying in the pocket but I’m sick of these 6-1 goons so I want to make them pay. 👿
