Is this a must if I'm running a Packers TT?
I've saved up enough coins to buy one, but will I notice a big difference on my 94 OVR team?

If you run packers reggie Ray and herb is a must will make your team top tier but at a price I wish I could afford him I use hurts for boosts to my eagles and it’s incredible

You don't have to chase upgrades as often. Clay Matthews will definitely be a 99 this weekend on my team.

Currently rolling with Julius Peppers and Z Smith as my ends, but I am intrigued by that cheesehead motivator chem.
Is there a new Clay Matthews scheduled for this weekend? I haven't seen any leaks.

As I someone who runs a pats TT McCourty is a must and elevates it (paying the four million coins was tough to swallow).

Yes ultimate Legends this week are Clay Mathews and bill fralic from mutleaks.

it would be difficult to advise anyone drop ~5-6M coins on a single player or card. That +1 SPD boost across the entire team was nice, for a while i was running 40/40 Niners, 20/40 Chiefs + 10/40 Packers (for/with Reggie), but it was too hard to resist taking that big payday. In my opinion, i'm not sure ANY single player or card is worth that many coins. MAYBE (but probably not) if it were an elite QB, but there's so many good options this year, my advice would be to remain patient.
I regret selling Emmitt Smith for a mere 3M, oh well. Made it up on the 6M Reggie sale... i've tried em all, except the Safety, Reggie remains the best of the three available, but perhaps a max 99 Emmitt will be amazing. However, Marcus Allen with 4AP Unstoppable Angry Runs is vastly superior.

And yes, confirmed, Clay will be Ultimate Legends this week -- i believe a regular set card, so you could grab him as BND, using tokens.
I realize neither fit your theme team, but George K. or DeMarcus Ware are fantastic, both get 4AP Unstoppable Force. Unliek Reggie, it does not need to be activated, as they are X-factors, as baked on passive abilities. Heck, even Furious George with Edge Threat + Double or Nothing has been fantastic for me, in the event you need to save some AP for elsewhere. They're a fraction of the cost, obviously don't boost Ray and Herb and company by +1 SPD... but i doubt it'd make that much of an impact on yer squad.

On the other hand, I think this will be my last season for the year with MLB coming out in a couple weeks.

Save yer coins for Rookie Premiers... that might be worth coming back, although EA will almost certainly force us to log in for ~30 days straight to achieve those things. So ridiculous. I've been meaning to check out MLB The Show, think we finally got a freebie from PSN+ subscription a while back.

Card got pretty low last night (lower today, sigh), so I pulled the trigger.
98 on my TT and lining him up as a rush DT with Peppers, ZSmith, and Kenny Clark was a lot of fun.
Boosted the whole team overall to 95

Reggie's abilities aren't great at this stage, but his boost alone for a Packers theme team is worth it. I have Genki Kenny at 99 speed at both tackle and DT I think because of Reggie's boost. He's absolutely worth the coins in that regard and it'll carry all year too.
