I actually miss training rolls. I do remember the loses I often took on them but what I remember the most is the time I spent spinning for Golden Tickets and that excitement when I had actually hit.

Fortunately or unfortunately a few years ago is when I last played MUT. Training Re-Rolls were a thing.  I guess not anymore.  Damn.  Guess this old dog needs to learn new things.

It's pathetic what they have done to almost every aspect of MUT.  Training rerolls currently give back 40-50% of the training you put in, which should be borderline criminal.  Even the stingiest casinos slots pay back at around a 96% clip, with certain video poker machines being even higher than that. EA is basically stealing money at any opportunity.  From holding the market at a certain point, to crashing the market on purpose, not telling people exactly when they are going to do overall increases, price ceilings, price floors, cornerbacks and wide receivers getting the lions share of LTD's, packs with two cards in them so grinders can't work the market as effectively.  The list goes on, but you get the point.

They were great back when promo sets were worthwhile.

taking like 500,000 coins could get you a full experience of each promo. You could snipe some cheap training or alt currency, and get rolling. Selling the rare cards you pull, and holding the larger set pieces which you could then do the master sets, sell or keep the master, and you’d get to keep like 3-5 decent usable set cards that were returned as NAT. and once you did it once, you could just quicksell the NAT’s as they were only 1/2 value so they still kept the ball rolling!

there was also a trade block back then so you could swap your pulls with friends. Was easy and fun to collect all the cards you needed.

take me back!
