For the players we earn in ranked, do we get rewarded for the highest tier we reached or for whatever rank we finish the season with? I am in hero right now and don't know if I somehow lose out of hero if I'll get the lesser rewards even though I reached hero as my peak rank.

It's where you end up at the end of the season so yeah, it's a gamble if you want to take the chance to try to rank up or settle with where you're at. Good luck bro.
