THE best release in the entire game (bar none) is Traditional 1.  The second best deep ball release i guess would be Slinger 5, although i cannot think of any QBs off the top of my head with this.

Don't just take my word for it, the data i'm pulling is from this great MUTVault QB Styles chart.

  • Luck Perry and Lamar Jackson have Trad 4, and it’s good. 
     
  • i think Montana has Trad 1 
  • And strouds trad 2 with gunslinger has no complaints from me thus far, night and day difference from Jordan Loves slow ass throw motion.

Tried using Goff bc im Lions TT and it was absolutely miserable.. Switched to Luck

Luck / Perry / Lamar have the best deep ball release that I have found. Apparently Montana has the best overall but havent tried it. Goff and Allen absolutely smoked poles..

I think I would say Montana for me in my opinion. I tried them all up to  strouds card.

Montana & Vick & Perry have seemed good for me.  Plus I use let it rip and a coach card which add 3 more to throw power. I'm really thinking about trying the 88 Arod.

I don't know if it’s just me but when I am throwing the deep ball to my left outside receiver this year with a touch pass sometimes the qb pumpfakes leaving me to get sacked it happens with Vick so I stopped using him and then I realized it happens with almost all QB’s I’ve used including Stroud but not with Perry I haven’t used the Lamar or Andrew Luck so I don’t know if pumpfake is super touchy this year or trad 4 is just a dummy proof release it only happens on deep routes to the left
