It’s been months since we’ve had one of these. Being that we paid money for the last title and were abandoned for the last quarter of the year or so, seeing this from EA is like the employee that no-shows for weeks, and on a random day walks through the front door, calling out in a loud voice to his [once angry, now indifferent] employers, “Hey guys, what’s shakin’?”

I essentially stopped playing after the Super Bowl, and picked up to get ready for Rookie Premiere 3-4 weeks back. I'm increasingly looking at MUT season as a six month year - and in a way, EA is doing the same. I'm curious how the end of the NFL season impacts player engagement (outside of the dedicated crowd that tends to frequent MUT.gg). I'm not apologizing for EA (ever!) but this probably explains part of it.
