In retrospect, I should have expected that the Last Chance Qualifier MCS tournament was going to cause a spike in market prices. I totally failed to position for profit on the upswing.
Of course, there's going to be a crash after the ladder play ends with shattered dreams for thousands of wannabes. My second chance to profit arrives this weekend.
I’ve offloaded a ton these last 2 days. Ended up not taking the ass whipping I thought I would have after zero chill. I did have to buy inflated Lamar but all in all, not mad about the post ZC market.
Tbh I bought things I wanted prior to zero chill ending cause I figured they’d go up. Got Witherspoon for 380 and last I checked he was 450
I agree. It took some cojones for those people to stick with it when things looked bad. Respect and more importantly coins earned. Been a great couple days of MUT and I’m looking forward to the weekend as well. Let the good times roll!!
It is interesting to see the market trends associated with competitive events this year by comparison to previous years. When I’ve brought up this up in the context of coin making it’s been meet with some hostility. So I have avoided the subject. Regardless I’d be interested in hearing more of what everyone thinks of it because I think we have heard a lot of pro voices on the subject. That being largely negative and rightfully so. I think it has a lot more to do with EA and their design than the investors but clearly many disagree.

I didn't realize there were so many people with irrational dreams about making it as a MUT gamer. But it happens with kids in a lot of things, such as actual competitive sports, higher education, and so forth. A lot of money sunk into a pipe dream.
Why do ppl care so much about their coin stacks? I have a friend who's stingy with coins but is mainly a CPU player. Im like bro they're all gonna play the same vs the CPU
I came out pretty good by holding onto to my 91’s and waiting until Thursday . I could have been better had I held on to a few of my LTD’s like Allen and Hutch a day longer and took advantage of the MCS .
Now I am waiting on the sidelines with a nice coin stack waiting on the eventual crash Monday
