Playoff Promo - Non Playoff Teams? Future Releases?

Will there eventually be playoff promo players released for non playoff teams? Or is everyone who is running a TT of the 18 non playoff teams screwed for this promo and just have to hope they get a former player from their TT? Or at least any 32 chem players? 

The promo doesn’t seem to make much sense if they don’t plan on releasing players from every team considering how popular TT’s are this year. Obviously, more than half the league doesn’t make playoffs, so a significant chunk of those running a TT either don’t have any players right now, or might have the odd 84-91 OVR. The Saints were lucky enough to get 2 players, but I know some teams got nothing. Regardless, the odd player or 2 isn’t enough to get any sort of chemistry boost.

They should drop some LTDs in future releases from other teams. Last year Lawrence Taylor got a playoff LTD for example.

Only LTD’s? Better than nothing but those aren’t the easiest thing to attain and they don’t release too many of them at a time. Will they have 32 team chems?

They always add the retired players in promos for teams like the Raiders.

Yeah just hoping they start adding players for the non playoff teams. It’s a pretty useless promo for those with non playoff TT

Call me crazy, but I’m not sure non playoff teams deserve to be getting new cards during the playoff promo. Of all the things EA does wrong, this isn’t one of them.

Not sure you can encourage TT’s as much as they have this year, and then only release cards for 14/32 teams

I yearly run a bengals TT and the one year they went on a run to the bowl they changed the promo to be ALL past players so you truly never know what they will do.

Super Bowl def will have past and of course I’m sure more 32x will be abound

They will introduce a new promo replacing totw soon(flashbacks?) and they should have some past playoff players since they do have warren sapp.

Doing only playoff teams isn’t really an issue, but other releases like collectors series and legends should not also be playoff teams. Also, tOTW should get replaced with something good too. 

Gotta balance it somehow. Packers and broncos getting playoff cards and collectors while the Colts get nothing is stupid.

I don’t think I ever reconciled things that way, but that may be because late April is more than three months away. By the NFL Draft program, this game will have already shifted into end-game mode. It is a bummer when half of the league’s teams are neglected.

Sometimes there are filler programs, but if you’re a Panthers fan now, you just watched a sickening loss in the playoffs, and all that is left for you as a MUT player is the next three releases of Julius Peppers, two of which will be OOP.
