In my personal experience, I've noticed.... especially with DBs.... that my new cards I'll add won't actually start balling out until they get a number of games under their belt. They may be good for a pick here and there in the beginning, but then really start to make plays the longer I have them. Hell it may just be me, but anyone else have that same experience? Weird stuff.
thats just the acclimation period, a staple since Madden ‘24
I agree, I say that all the time. Alstott started off not so good, A few games in he got used to the play book.
oh word? thats wild that that's real. wonder why that's part of the game.... good to know. thanks @ratrice @Buccs4047
Yep I feel that way too. Except for Baun and Demeco, they were absolute demons from the start
I definitely have this happen sometimes. I always thought it was just me getting used to how they played and figuring out how to use them better but idk.
I have never noticed this. I didn't know that while all of my defenders were playing badly, some were playing especially stupid.
gotta run some “practice” sessions to get the new players up to speed w the playbook and terminology, madden simulation football 2026
I thought that too but I also think it may be getting used to how a specific player moves

Yeah for me it’s mainly my secondary which I don’t really user. So strange but if there’s a so called acclimation period then I’m certainly seeing it
it all matters on who I play. If I face a bum, all my guys are HOF worthy. If I play anyone with a brain, all my guys are useless
I notice my guys tend to ball out once they get lower on the depth chart, like theyre fighting for their jobs.

I get this too. I think its how they get moved. example zero chill mays and diggs. these dudes didnt see action until they were corner 3 and backup saftey (up top). After they got demoted they starting getting picks every game.
TBH i just think those 2nd and 3rd string players are in positions that poeple throw at more.

This is a good theory and probably right in my case.

Alstott is the best rb I’ve used this year and I had freight train Vick. He’s great at blocking and break 3-4 tackles a play. He gets the best animations too where they just brush off of him
