I got squat but its ok. I pulled Dk from training the day he came out. I wont pull anything good for a while.
Simple economics he says.. every 1M=$100 to EA. Simple. Yes, it's overinflated slop coin. Which is why they have to overinflate the players.
droblunts313 said:“Bro” You’re so lost it’s concerning. I’ve played every single Mut since it was introduced in 2010. This is by far the best value for money spent players. Those bundles are guaranteed coins. All of the platinum bundles and crystal bundles are guaranteed coins. They use to sell $100 bundles that would give you a 20% chance to pull a card worth 400-500k. Now you can spend $100 and get a minimum of 1 million coins for buying certain bundles. Those crystal bundles are the best bang for your buck packs in the game. You spend $250 and you’re getting millions of coins. The first set of crystals got you like 3-5 million and the most recent crystals gave you 8-10 million coins. Why do you think everything is so expensive this year? The answer is because people have coins, it’s simple economics.
I get it man....you throw around insults and try and "speak" as loud as you can and then say "I won the argument." I've met many of your type in my life. You're delusional.
At what point am I "lost?" You are giving EA credit for giving you SOME value back for spending $250 on a $60 game. This is where we are at now?!?! All logic and common sense out the window?!?!
You say you've played this game since 2010, well then you would recall the 10 card packs for $2. You'd also recall the $20 bundles with the toppers of guaranteed 300k champions. You'd also recall the style solos and dual style solos that would net you four 400k cards.
EA has practiced inflation and shrinkflation at the same time and you're gonna come in here throwing insults around trying to convince us EA is doing us favors?!?! That's laughable!

I never insulted you. Honestly you just sound mad and you’re thinking emotionally while I’m stating facts and thinking logically. There has never been a year in mut where you can spend $20 and buy a platinum bundle and get 300-500k minimum. Theres never been a year where you can buy a $250 step offer and get 8 million coins after tax. The amount of sets you can build to make millions of coins is ridiculous. Thats why everything is so expensive. You can think this is an argument if you want but it’s not.

I'm not mad at all. Just tired of the state we are in as a society..."if I say it's true on the internet, it makes it true in real life." Nothing you are saying is factual. EA had $20 bundles all the time that included a topper of the champion from the current release. An easy 300k. While I don't disagree with you regarding the coins you can generate from the Crystal bundles, you are defending a $250 bundle. If I spent $250 on a bundle, I would expect to get something of value from it. According to your logic, we should be thanking EA for how generous they are.
The real reason everything is expensive this year is all the useful cards are LTD or hidden behind a paywall. The champions (which EA has substantially nerfed) and set pieces are all the same prices as they've been in years past.

I’m not defending a $250 bundle. I’m saying that if you spend money that is the best possible value in any mut. You don’t have to spend money in this game to have a top tier team. The problem is people don’t want to spend money and then they also don’t want to grind but then they expect the best of the best. That’s not how anything works in life.
“ if I say it’s true on the internet, then that makes it true in real life”. Seriously? What I have I said that isn’t true? This is the easiest year to make coins (from spending and from grinding) and that’s why everything is so expensive. What’s not true about that?

We've come so far from the original comment that this conversation doesn't even look the same.
Your original comment says "EA listens to the people and makes it easier to make coins and actually drops packs that contain good value for what they cost and then everyone complains that the cards are too expensive now." There is nothing that EA did this year that "contains good value." $250 for a bundle of cards that have no real world value is not a "good value" no matter how many coins they generate.
And then you follow it up with "No matter what EA does people will complain." Personally I think EVERYONE should complain about $250 bundles and a $1,400 Lamar card as well as all the other gouging EA has done.
The untrue parts are simply about the past of MUT. I hated spending $ before, but we used to get so much more content substantially cheaper.

Lmao the $250 dollar crystal offers are injecting millions of coins into the market which is causing the prices of ltds to reach 5-6 million coins. That’s why everything is so expensive. All of that is relevant to this conversation. What do you not understand?

You dont seem to understand inflation. More coins, all cards cost more, youre paying more real money to inject the cards into the game. That 500k coins youre so happy to be guaranteed isnt as much currency as youre making it out to be.
Meanwhile, packs that dont cost money have horrible odds, and you can get banned for playing the market well.
EA gave you coins for your weekly subscription this week, and you act like they did you a favor...

I know exactly what inflation is. I understand exactly how it works with the Mut market. You also seem a little bit lost in this conversation. I’m not promoting spending money. I’m saying that the prices of ltds are so high because of how many coins are in the market. Another person was complaining about how everything is priced so high and I was explaining to him it’s because of all of the platinum offers and step up offers injecting millions of coins into the market which raises the prices particularly of high end cards. That 500k you’re talking about that’s not worth as much this year as it would of been worth 3-4 years ago has nothing to do with this conversation.
Idk if you read this conversation wrong or what but what you said is irrelevant. Maybe go back a re read the whole conversation and not just respond to one comment in the middle of the conversation.

Dude, you just talk in circles while getting further and further from the original topic each time. The Crystal cards are NOT injecting any coins into the market unless someone is paying $250 to QS the LTD. IF platinum cards are in the step-up offer, they are adding coins to the market, but a regular card is not adding any coins. Don't know if you know how the AH works in MUT. If not, let me know and I can give you a tutorial.
And once again, you constantly move the goal posts in these discussions. I don't care how many coins are generated from a $250 step-up offer. The fact that you think EA is being generous by giving you "X" coins for $250. This is how we got to this point in MUT. People such as yourself defending these slimy practices. I'm just waiting for you to try and convince us that the Lamar card was truly "free" and EA wasn't being manipulative.

I’m talking in circles because you’re not understanding simple economics. I feel like I’m talking to a kid.
The crystals were an example of how much value the store has brought to the market, platinum offers as well. Do you really think every person who bought the crystals keeps them? Lmao people 100% buy offers and sell the players they get in order to obtain coins. Since you’re not understanding my point I’ll explain it again. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN THE EASIEST YEAR TO MAKE COINS (from store offers and grinding) The only reason ltds are 5-6 million coins is because people have the coins to pay that much.
Btw you’re just reading what you want to read. I’m not defending 250$ step up offers I’m just saying that is part of the reason everything is so expensive. I’m sorry that you won’t accept the fact that I’m right about this.
I think you’re the one who needs a tutorial on the market. 🤣

"I’m not defending 250$ step up offers I’m just saying that is part of the reason everything is so expensive"
You're very first post in this thread was defending packs and saying people are unappreciative of how generous EA has been. This has been what I've been defending. This year has been the easiest way to make coins IF you are open to spending $...and the $ we are talking about is 10x more expensive than years past.

Dude you’re literally reading stuff and then not comprehending it. I’m actually against spending money because it’s so easy to make coins.
If you go back to what I said you will notice I said people complained about spending money in the past and not getting good value, then I said ea listened and gave us good offers for money spenders (crystal step offers, platinum bundles), and then they complain when the prices are so high. That’s what happened, I’m not saying it’s good or bad. I said no matter what ea does people will find a way to complain. Am I wrong about anything I said?
