I mean all of those 0 AP abilities are nice, but Deion has still been making way more plays.

Since picking Pat P up, hes had like 1 INT and 1 PD and Deion has like 5-6 INT and several PD.

He´s already started to look kind of shady on some defensive actions as well.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I agree, Deion is still CB#1, but Cooper Dejean isn't too far off.

After grabbing Pat P, I put Deion in the slot. AP wise, Dejean and PP on the outside and Deion at slot is the best setup, for me. I like having midzone on my CBs.

But, Deion is horrible there! Need to figure out something because he gets put on his a** due to low press.

He has played fine for me in the 2 runs I had last night trying the new mode.  Have basically the same stack as Deion currently (deep/mid/PA)

I ended up selling Dejean to replace him with.   Kept Deion.  Cooper was great, but couldn't justify his price (still was 2.3m) when he's about to get an upgrade.

He had a few INTs in the games I played.  I didn't notice any glaring mistakes.  I rock him/Deion on the outside and Adderly in the slot.

he had 6 picks for me yesterday, i moved coop to FS and have Deion CB2 and Pat CB 1

just give it time, Ken Houston had no picks for me day 1 i got him and i was a bit disappointed. Last few days he’s started balling for me, sometimes opponents won’t test certain cards or their scheme won’t allow a player to make plays due to where they throw consistently

give him time. with the token he’s CB1 by a landslide

Seems like we have the exact same setup.

Pat P had 3 picks in one game right after i posted that thread, so he is really solid now.

I´d recommend what Ryyo said above. That is the same setup that I am running and it is really good.

Cooper DeJean at FS, Deion and Pat P on the outside. I usually put my "lowest" CB in the slot, because in the defense that I play he is just guarding Curl flats all the time.

Currently it´s Jaylen Watson and he is gonna get replaced by Brents tomorrow.

He's the best corner in the game with the token.

we often over analyse card performance when they’re new and expensive. Happens to me all the time, when i just set them and forget them, that’s when i notice they’re making plays.

My golden rule now esp for defensive players is let them play for a few days (maybe a 20-30 game sample?) before reaching a decision
