You don’t see the same tactics repeated in real football as much as in madden because in real football teams adjust and counter whatever is beating them, but in madden you are the coach and you need to counter your opponent., and most madden players just want to press a button and stop everything with no thought involved. Cooldowns do nothing but decrease skill gap. Imagine playing someone who can’t guard a specific play instead of your opponent having to make a change to stop said play the game just holds his hand and takes that play out of the equation. That would be like if a team kept running man with no up top help against tyreek hill and the dolphins kept putting him on a streak, and instead of the other team needing to change defenses the refs just said you can’t do that anymore doing the same thing isn’t football. Obviously a good player can switch it up but why punish someone for taking advantage of their opponent’s weaknesses. And before anyone says anything about certain plays “exploiting the game” there is nothing in this game that can’t be stopped with a few adjustments.

Not really.
You seem to be really keen on the word "adjustments" even though you've yet to quantify what that actually means in context to real football.
Those plays don't work because they are inefficient, for one. Calling a drag every play would exhaust your receivers. An effective drag route is essentially a horizontal 9 route, except much more taxing. You have to explode out of your break to have any chance of getting yards, and it's easy to stop in real life. You're also setting yourself up to getting blind side hit.
On a good day, you're looking at about 3-4 yards. It's not something you march down the field with every series. Unless it's a pick play designed for you to take the drag upfield after the catch, it's just not a viable play-call.
