Once again...a reminder to EA...ban or penalize constant hurry ups

Anyone that doesn’t realize this is a video game is complete trash. Who cares if someone is running hurry up, if it effects you that much just call a time out and then come out in a defense anticipating the hurry up. I feel like people only complain when they dont have the skill to stop something. I’m not even lying I actually prefer when people run hurry up because then I know what’s about to come. It’s very predictable

You should be able to subsitute defenders . Im a commanders fan and we run a lot of hurry up . It’s annoying seeing the refs stop Daniels from taking a snap because the D is subbing players in and the play clock winds down .

In the NFL, if the offense subs out players, the defense gets time to sub out players. No one is picking on Daniels.

Troll? He said I spam hurry up offense and I gave two recent examples on why I don’t care about the game enough to ever do anything that could be considered spamming. If anything I spam the quit button when encountering these tryhard dweebs.

They only stop the offense if they initiated the substitution, which isn’t what hurry up in madden is because the same players stay on the field. 

I prefer the no huddle cheese over the istrong clock chewers.

Nothing derails a thread about fixing a problem like talking about that problem in the context of other problems in such a way as to either Accept Things as They Are or You Think A Is Bad, But B Is So Much Worse!

It was absolutely a troll response. Why in the world did you disregard his complaint, suggesting that the real problem was relying on a [cheesy?] defense?

As an aside, I would venture to guess it takes an elite-level Madden player to recognize that he's got the defense in a bad spot personnel wise. Madden hardly provides the offensive player with the tools to know what defenders are on the field at any one time.

But back to the main point: Guys who spam No Huddle are doing it for the exaggerated stamina drain defenders suffer from after successive plays, and there isn't a corresponding and proportional ding to the offense. You'll never see No Huddle in the NFL the way you see it in Madden. Chip Kelly tried bringing his NCAA No Huddle Nonsense to the NFL, and for every year he remained in the NFL, his record got worse.

There is zero sensible justification for Madden's programming to permit No Huddle spamming that correlates to improved scoring.

I didn’t mean to offend you by not sympathizing with OP. Shredder seems like a great man but his complaint does not make my knees buckle the way it does yours. In fact, it seems like one of 2 dozen complaints made by OP about this video game that is completely optional to play for each user.

You don't know anything about what's to come, stop it. The problem isn't the play, it's running no huddle and not being punished for it which is bullshit.

This cannot be a ban-able offense. You cannot ban someone for exploiting a mechanic in the game that is working as EA intended it to. It sounds like that is what you are suggesting and I hope I am reading it wrong. Now wanting tuning to fatigue and other things to discourage it is another conversation and something I would agree with.

Ohhhh how that' crap pisses me off lol...it straight makes me wanna quit out immediately or do ignorant shit my damn self like let the controller sit and take up all the time it can and move it once in a while so I don't get kicked ...the ppl who do it are just moronic and like someone earlier mentioned a child.... I get running it in certain situations but constantly should not be possible or allowed.

The occasional times teams do run hurry up when their losing in the 4th quarter, they risk heavy fatigue, false starts, wrong formation etc

I agree, but I think there are more pressing issues in the game to make it less arcade-like and more sim. For starters, let's implement the limit of calling the same play. 99% of my games I'm facing the same 1 or 2 plays on offense or defense, most of which are found on YouTube because they break the CPU somehow.
