Old sets being removed

I'm probably late to this as I started playing ultimate team relatively recently. But last night I was looking for some budget O-Lineman, they weren't available in the auction house so I went over to sets to build them but the sets were just gone? Relatively recent promos too like Superbowl and Genki force. I don't remember EA taking away sets like this in previous years. It seems like your pretty much just SOL if you are building a theme team or want a budget card and they are not on the auction house. EA really went into overdrive pushing people to buy new cards this year.

They've removed sets sporadically, although there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what they remove. All of the Pregame Access sets are gone, but all of the Preseason Standouts available from the same period are still around, from Gold to Champion. Again, all of the Autumn Classic sets are available, from Low Elites to Champions, but the later releases from Zero Chill, Ghosts of MUT, and Merry Mix-Up are not available in sets.

It's been like this the last 2 years. When they switched over to this current Menu with the Sets and Catalogs it ran sluggish the first year. I believe this was the way to speed up the Menus.

Kinda like the doge buys cancelling grants....they just reduce the set numbers with no logic at all
