So i'm an old school muthead member and played MUT from Madden 14 (aka Madden 25) up until Madden 2021 or so. I was a diehard player. All day everyday. I quit because the game got worse and worse and it was obvious EA didnt care as long as MUT addicts were poppin packs. Well they put Madden 26 on PS+ recently so i decided i'd give it a try to see what all had changed. I've been "playing" less than a day and im already about to uninstall it. I just so happened to download it last night so i had no access to it this morning because they were launching Season 7. Ok fair enough. I went about my day and decided i'd try and dig into it tonight.
Well 1st off after i get a lay of the land i start trying to tackle some challenges and get some of the players/packs from challenges and season pass. I go into events and attempt a draft and get my team drafted only to find out CLASSIC DRAFT DOESNT WORK AT ALL! I googled it and apparently it hasnt worked all year? EA just abandoned fixing it i guess? So i decide i will run the new spring team diamond solo's i finish the first objective and get 10 stars for the 84+ team diamond pack or whatever and go to open it and the game just freezes and i have to quit the app and when i restart it the servers are down again. This on top the few other times this morning when the game froze and i had to restart it. Oh i also noticed that on challenges they cant even get the graphic right for how many stars you earned! It shows 3 even though you got 5 because they cropped the screen out somehow. Oh and the in game objectives dont even show you the secondary objectives?! Has this what its come to? Yall are still paying $70+ to play a mode that is built around microtransactions and is what made EA into what it is today and they cant even make this mode work? It blows my mind how incompetent a game developer can be and people still throw thousands of dollars at them every season in a game mode they dont even care to make work. A game i once loved. Rant over.
