No need for Barkley crystal now?

With Superbowl around the corner is the Barkley crystal chem worth having? If they are getting 95 speed and  on a normal TT gets +2 speed and another +2 from strat item and 20/30 chem then no need for the crystal chem correct?

I would disagree. Until we get stock 97 speed players they will have value. 

The promo speed chems always end. On top of that , the whole theme team will not be from the current promo. And they can be used to bump the 20 side of hybrid theme teams as well.

barkley still necessary...i think it's time to give up gibbs though if you can't run both

Yes but a lot of people are gonna hop promo to promo to get the 99 speed from here on out. Not saying they aren't gonna still be valuable but is it 3 million worth?

Maybe, depends on your coins. If you know you will promo hop your entire team the rest of the way, then it is probably not worth it to you anymore.

I think that they'll continue to have value until most key players have a base speed of 97, and at that point, the markets for Barkley will become volatile, principally because you can run a 50 & 20 hybrid theme team and use the Release One Crystals to boost the 20-component contingent. The thing is, we're here right now. All that's left is for the bottom to fall out.

Once items start regularly hitting 98, and particularly when MLB's routinely hit 97 SPD, Barkley will crash completely as obsolete.

3 million value tho?

Without stock 97 speed the first batch of crystals are still needed to hit that 99speed. Once players reach stock 97 speed a 50/50 them is fine without the crystal players.

I should have phrased my question differently. Is he less valuable now that people can promo hop and still get 99 speed. Wondering if I should sell now or wait.

I sold mays Milano and Warren for about 6 mil then bought the legendary HB juke card that gives +1 CoD cus I needed it for AP to hit 95 cod the start was 2 mil so saved 4 mil selling those crystals
