NFL Draft Promo???

MUTmas draft was the easiest coins of my life, just ran streaks and Cover 3 and ate chicken while clicking a few buttons. Bring it back to replenish coin for RP!

I might try to rip the BND and save it for part 2, assuming we'll get better cards then.  Not being able to remove the baked on abilities has hosed this entire promo.  I can't even find a single card I want to use from all of Sugar Rush part 1.

VERY good looking card.  My only issue with this, after the ability point reduction, being able to devote 2AP to Universal Coverage (when a 1AP Deep Zone KO will suffice) feels a touch wasteful, but good eye.  I just happen to be committed to the OOP All Star Athletes and that +3 height boost, so i'm sticking with Jimmy Graham and Calvin as my over the top, deep safety help.  Lemme know what you think, could be an eggcellent selection.

Someday i'll resume that Sugar Rush House Rules grind, but at the moment i'm feeling exhausted with it -- so sick of watching the menus and loading screens in between games, which often takes longer than the actual House Rules gameplay, oof.

sugar rush stuff ends on tuesday the 22nd so maybe we get past then and present thursday the 24th?

That is a VERY good question, my good sir.  I'm essentially in the same boat as you, although our OG PS5 started overheating anytime my son would try to play NBA2K25, things would sputter and freeze and such, the console must be filled with cat hair or something after a number of years and doesn't want to pump out 4K HDR content for very long.

So we finally upgraded to a PS5 Pro -- i would not advise getting this console, especially if the only game you play is Madden Ultimate Team.  I am not able to tell any different, whatsoever, despite Madden 25 as being listed under the "PS5 Pro Enhanced" games.  Not a damn thing is enhanced, the menus are all still slow and buggy as hell, the game is beyond broken.

I have delusions of playing other games, but there's really only so many hours in a week -- i can't compete with unemployment, so i'm right there with you, Madden is basically the only game that i play, personally.  Although the middle schoolers are into a range of stuff; Roblox, Fortnite, GTA5 (and soon? to be Six), NBA2K25, etc.

I dunno if it'd be better to get an Xbox if you only play Madden, perhaps the $10 GamePass subscription could cover the cost of the game and the ongoing subscription, where as on Playstation you'd need to purchase the game and the PSN subscription.  Some long time Madden players don't love the "next-gen" version of the game, but that's up for YOU to determine.  PS4 Madden feels liek ice hockey to me, how dudes zoom around the field.

I'd urge you to check Facebook marketplace, or Craigslist, perhaps -- hopefully you could acquire a gently used console for $300 (or less).

Thank you Sir. As always very informative 👍. I've been a life long playstation fan. It would feel like I'm cheating on my wife if I were to go with Xbox. I have a huge catalog of games as well. The game on ps4 is so outdated now. That's why I was asking. Abilities and playbooks are not the same and not in game. Honestly EA shouldn't be making this game for ps4. But I'm to addicted so I keep buying it. Thanks again I'll check prices and see if I can find one cheaper

When EA forced our hand, by splitting the game version between console generations, i was forced to retire my beloved Star Wars edition PS4 Pro... the controllers had such bad stick drift, it wasn't even really possible to keep playing.  Although, my brand new PS5 Pro controller that was included with the new console already had stick drift, straight out of the unopened retail box.  These things are designed to fail, what a racket.

But yeah, that's how i managed to get a second console for my bedroom (so i don't have to compete with little man), scored a sub-$300 PS5 OG Disc edition from Facebook marketplace on a whim.

Not really.  I mean, yes, he's got his own Franchise or a Wide Receiver (i think that plays for the Buffalo Bills), kind of in the mold of Tyreek.  He's casual -- the kids are playing Fusion (or Universe?) Football in Roblox a lot lately.  Couple of his middle school friends just got PS5s, so they're also into GTA5, doing heists, etc.  NBA2K is one of his favorite games, although he's regularly logging 1000+ hours (annually) in Fortnite.  They stopped playing for a while, but back to Fortnite, perhaps due to new season?  He doesn't ask for Battle Pass anymore, that's how i know it's less important.
