So EA suckered me in with a price drop and I bought 23 yesterday. I play almost exclusively H2H, have 4 RP tokens and wondered what the fastest way to build up a decent side would be? I don't play Legends at all.
I'm an OK player and average User at LB and play NMS. With all my free packs I'm currently only at 75OVR.
Any advice appreciated.
Do the older AKA solos which require you to just get one star in every challenge, and at the end you get to choose any AKA player. The best choices are between a 94 Tom Brady and 94 Darius Slay. (These are not the AKA New Class solos)
You should be able to complete the TOTW solos as well fairly quickly which will reward many high 80s and if you’re lucky low 90s players that will quickly up your team overall
Building off of what ultrarunnersean said, TOTW solos also give you all the tokens you need for a free 98 ovr TOTY auctionable player, which you can then sell to upgrade your team as necessary. You also get a 90+ fantasy pack of a few random TOTW players, all auctionable
Grind TOTW first, can be done in about an hour and a half without any team upgrades other than what you get from the solos. Either keep the 98 TOTY player you get at the end as a staple on your team, or sell and use the coin to build stuff like Combine master, keep the BND players, sell the master, etc... Repeat that with other sets until you run out of coin.
Legend solos, sell all the power ups, get a 95+ overall legend at the end. Combine solos, get Joey Porter who is pretty good. Basically any of the recent solo series that offer a 94+ BND at the end of it. A solid day of grinding you'll have a 94 or higher overall team.
Thanks all. Worked my way through the Weekly Wildcard solos last night and picked up several 90+'s. OVR now 84 and played (and won) my first H2H.

What console are you on? How's the lineup now?
Work your way through challenges and solos. TOTW, AKA (start with the first rendition of the program and then New Class), TOTY, BHM, and others will help you out a bunch.

Done nothing since yesterday except buy the Multiple D playbook as the Raiders book is a bit limited. I'll stick with the Raiders O for now.

Do the Combine solos and FA solos.
Then youll be caught up
The legends challenges will give you a choice from many players as well, all the way up to 97 ovr

Totw get all tokens quick challenges and you get 1 of 3 98s tell me who you got ill tell you what to do and who to pick if you want
And as someone who put 22 down 2 days ago let me say that PS4 Madden 23 graphics are shit. Lineman look ridiculous and some of the shoulder pads are just comedy. Gameplay also very meh? RB's seem to fall over all the time and there's a WR/CB animation that looks like textbook PI but never gets called?
