Over the top means play him at SS, yep. And keep in mind, you want two SUBLBs. If Hamilto’s been playing well for you, keep him as a second SUBLB, with Pola-mao as your first.

If you’re coming out in a nickel formation, your SUBLBs take the place of your MLBs. Nickel is one of the best default formations, and most good nickel formations use both SUBLB slots. Unless it specifically says so, like a 3-3 Nickel formation, it’s using two SUBLBs.

Oh get it. So then I will have three SS cards? I put Hitman in the first slot. In the box under Hitman I put Hamilton. And I put Pola-Mao only in the SUBLB slot? And Hamilton also in the box under SUBLB 1? So Pola-Mao will only appear in the SUBLB slot then?

If you want Hitman to play SS, with Hamilton and Pola-mao as your SUBLBs, that’s exactly what you do, yep! You won’t get any chemistry bonuses from Pola-mao in that case, but here’s a helpful workaround for that issue:

If Pola-mao gets FS as a secondary position, buy the secondary position and put him in the secon FS slot. You’ll still be able to use him as your SUBLB, and you’ll still get his chemistry bonus. That’s what I’m doing with Derwin Jame. I have him and Kerby as my SUBLBs, but with only two available SS slots, I obviously can’t have them both in the lineup along with my actual SS.
