Hi, I got back into Madden (and MUT) after a couple years. I used to go to Muthead, but that's gone.
I recall that they used to have maintenance on Thursday mornings, but yesterday after getting the Team captain welcome pack, I got disconnected and haven't been able to connect to any of my EA games. Non-EA games are working fine.
I've been playing since early release with no issues (except for kicking). Thanks for reading.

Try rebooting your console, perhaps? EA servers are notoriously buggy, but HAAA -- no, they definitely no longer perform weekly maintenance. They have a bare bones staff, the ultimate goal is always low-effort, high volume. We're experiencing tons of disconnects/Desyncs galore, but you should at least be able to connect to the game servers to try and play. What other EA titles have you tried to play? Seems something might be wrong with your EA account.

Anytime a card drops before its official release, 1:30pm est for weekday content and 10:30am for weekend legend content, your game will crash if you try to interact with those cards.
Ea has also accidentally put out solo challenges days or hours early. If you notice this, do not play them. There were multiple occasions last year where people did all the challenges and never got their rewards.
Thanks guys. Ultimately, the problem was that my ps5 got disconnected from the wi-fi and timed out every time before reconnecting. So, I bought an ethernet cable and am now connected directly to the router. So much better.
