Never had a GREAT team

This is the year. Rn I’m a 80 ovr with 290k coins

only play  a few hours a week. 

What should I be doing and playing to have a great team this year.

The solo event thing (it is the "House Rules" one) playing against the computer is fairly easy...it is only a half and it goes by fairly quick.  You either have to win the game or get a 28 point lead.  Best guess is it takes about an hour to complete it and you get a pack and around 30k coins...if you get something good from the pack (yesterday I got an 85 that sold for around 350k) you can make solid coin...if you don't get anything good from the pack (I think the worst you can get is a 78) you can still make around 35-40k...not great, but it gives you a chance to practice your offense and seems to be the best return on time for coins that I have found.  There is a H2H version also which may pay better...but...I ain't there yet.

No I've given up on sets...there is profit to be made on them, but I found I can make about as much by just selling the part pieces for the sets (for example...if a set requires 3 80-81s...I just pick up any of those I find cheap (which rarely happens) and then sell them)...when I look at what an 85 cost for example...it is many times cheaper to just buy the 85 then try and build it (thus...no profit).  For folks that hang out on the AH looking for cheap parts there is profit...but again...I think just selling the part piece is the same (for example again...if something takes 3 80s and then it sells for 70k...if you can get 80s around 20k you make profit when you build the set...but...if I can get 80s around 20k and sell the 80s for 26k or so...well...same profit (close enough for me)...I also don't get caught holding a higher overall card that plummets in value before I can sell it...and...it is very time consuming.

man roll that 80k pack 3 times, why not.  get 30k more coins and roll it again.  they'll prob be your 4 best cards.

I'm still just holding mine...I don't see any out there I think are game changers and/or have long term impact. For higher BNDs I tend to try and get ones that will have an immediate impact and also be relevant for a while.  There are some good ones out there no doubt...just none that I think are all that.
