How do you deal with a nerfed squad i.e. all of a sudden there are tons of drops on open catches, blown coverages, blown blocks, errant throws, fumbles... its impossible to play when nerfed i am sure ya'll deal with it too

I've never felt like any of my players or squad are nerfed.
The closest I get to that is the ap changes but that's usually 5 min of tinkering and ready to go.
Maybe you just need a break and to come back fresh after a day or two.

I'm surprised how well my squad just played seeing as I just lost more than 20 AP in abilities on Offense, and another 20 on Defense.
However, my controller is starting to go. That's definitely hurting me.

I've ran Heavy Saint and some games my blockers are blind or something. Like literally run right by people in front of their fn face... Someone runs heavy saint vs me and it's pancakes and untouched touchdowns.. I wish someone would let me know what to do differently. I don't hold R2...

Ignored defenders when you have a wall of blockers drives me nuts. I earned that free space with the right play call, right read, and right path for the runner. It would be one thing to get a weak block, but to have a guy run unabated toward my ball carrier doesn't happen in the NFL. You make those mistakes as a blocker, and you could get your walking papers.
Its the AP change or you need a break. This happens. Re evaluate your AP, get back to the basics and build back up off that.

AP change wasn't even that bad? Had to change a couple things around but still mostly the same stacks on everyone

Mine was a lot. Easy fix tho, now to get use to it lol... for now

Yeah, how did this happen? Granted, most of mine were upcosted TotY abilities on the LTD's at six a pop, but here and there I had +1 and +2 on other players.
Probably depends on who you had on your team, and maybe how the abilities were distributed across the buckets. Doesn't explain performance drops.
