Between having to use a Raiders TT and the defense just being absolutely ass after the last patch, I’m beyond bored playing this. I remembered why I stopped playing Madden 24 and 25. Before anyone says I’m just not good or something stupid, I’m top 100 in every season and have beaten some of the top MCS players. Playing them, other than King Henry, is the most boring shit ever 😂 when I play Henry it’s more of a thinking game he isn’t very glitchy, the rest are terrible with it. Haven’t played in a few days now, thinking of going back to some RPGs. Anyone else feeling bored with it?
I def know what you're saying. RPGS and all video games will get boring at some point. It's all about your perspective. Can you try playing for money? Or teaching us your secrets? Switch Theme teams?
I must say the game does piss me off quite a bit & makes me wanna punch a hole in my wall, especially when facing douche bags online. Oddly enough I've actually been addicted, It definitely helps that my beloved Raiders are getting soooo much content.

I mean you literally can't switch theme teams right now or you just get smoked. Trust me I tried, and top 100 players i played against it was TOUGH and i used Pats TT which is the second best for sure. I thought about doing skills and stuff like that. It's just not enough people interested to put the time into. RPGs get boring once you beat them lol so you have to just play one after another but at least they are interesting on first play. If EA was smart they'd get on top of getting away from glitchy play, they clearly know about it and don't like it, it's why you've seen so much stuff like the spin get nerfed, the 1 yard quick corner, and so much more. They need to be putting out weekly patches to stop games from getting repetitive and people not wasting time practicing exposing glitches like the current QB scramble/juke glitch, or the fly route/ throw to right side or left side glitch by adjusting your passing style (it's literally impossible to stop Randy Moss with this, I put a triple man coverage on him to test, and still your defense can't play with him unless you user which then leads the entire field open). People find these and literally just go practice them, wtf is that?
Anyways they clearly are just going to do Raiders TT all fucking year which is stupid. I'm not a Raiders fan at all, nor is like 90% of football fans but we are stuck with the shit. MUT should be about building a team for YOUR play style or with YOUR favorite players/team, not "hope you like raiders and speed cause that's all the game is about now" lol.
Anyone got any good RPG suggestions? Been thinking about trying new GoY, i liked GoT so seems like a good choice.

If I was a Raiders fan I'd be far less upset. I'm a Packers fan and if that was the universal TT for everyone too though i'd be irriated by that. I also again do not like that all that matters is Speed, and that there isn't a real need to build a team based on your play style and skills. Having the new tier of players each week always be the best at every skill for their position is super dumb. If they made speed not necessarily the top factor it would make weekly releases compete with each other which would actually make EA more money by increasing the market value of everything and stabilizing it, but instead they just try and force LTD pack purchases. I hate that speed gets based mostly on "40 times" in madden and then it gets expressed HUGE on like a drag route for example. NEWS FLASH, a players 3 cone drill probably has more impact on a drag then a 40 time, so using speed as the top factor on that and being able to cover that doesn't make sense when they measure it basically on a 40 and that's it. There's just so much about this game right now that makes it like playing tic tac toe instead of a football game, the shit is beyond binary at this point.

I feel you bro. The downside about my Raiders getting all this content is you have a lot of ppl who aren't even Raiders fans running our tt smh. I like to see variety when I play online instead of the same ole same ole just because it's the popular thing right now. I would love to run into some Chargers, Bronco's, Chiefs etc fans who run a true 100% tt like me. & as for rpg suggestions, I enjoyed the hell outta midnight suns.

Hopefully they make some changes at some point, but they clearly have gone too far down the Raiders TT road to go back anytime soon. Just checked Midnight Suns, looks dope, the Spider Man games were great, can't wait for Wolverine to drop in a year.

Hackthacode!!
Not trying to brag, but those tourneys be like $1k madden Tourneys and you are playing all day sometimes multiple days, and I make more than that working which is more exciting that Madden lately lol
I'm positive I can compete in them based on some of the players I've already beaten. If they all were like King Henry, I'd play in them for fun, he's the only one I've played who can have a normal convo with you while playing (we're friends now on PSN), and isn't just running cheese the entire game waiting for a mistake. He has really good switch stick skills and reads defenses well. His offense trips bunch shit gets tedious and boring but at least he's not using glitches. Every other player i've played that's a top MCS, even the ones I've beaten, uses mostly glitches in the game (many end up getting patched before new ones arrive lol) and you can tell and some even admit that they practice them in practice mode. I could name at least 5 well known MCS players right now that run straight cheeese 24/7, and I've won against all of them and lost against all of them too and it all comes down to stopping the cheese on 1 drive lol, if I stop just 1 drive I win. Meanwhile, I lead in most offensive plays called in every season top 100 at around 14, to the point where even King Henry asked me like where tf did you get this offense? UMMMM like a normal person I came up with it myself not just watching some YTs and copying some shit that everyone else does like Bunch Nasty which EVERYONE copied from him lol. This entire game is just copycat shit, it's one thing to learn from someone but to have everyone running Raiders TT, Jets Offense, and doing the same glitches, jesus christ is it boring lol
I came into this year with a fully mercenary mindset about theme teams. (I think I went Dark Side last year when I bailed on my 49ers and eventually settled on a Cowboys All-Star Athletes build.) I've vacillated between the Cowboys and the 49ers, went to the Chiefs when HHM Isiah Pacheco came out, and then moved to the Raiders with Most Feared. All along I've been looking for the next thing, and I'm not seeing it. Teams I would use continue to have some glaring holes in their lineups.
Perhaps Breakouts will give me the excuse I need to move on from the Raiders.

Nope, breakouts they have both BNDs you auto get as Raiders, as well as the most players in first batch of breakouts is Raiders lol

I see what your saying now. The days of having several plays for an opponent are dead because copycats just run boring stuff because not much thought is needed.
I seen a few of your videos, you were getting busy with one formation but also had other plays. Im just learning madden again and I've finally accepted knowing a bunch of plays is cool but can cost you a game. Henry seems like a cool dude. I understand your post now,

Yes, this.
You don't really need to adapt to your opponent's scheme. There are specific defenses that align favorably for getting to the quarterback, and for covering the seams, and if a defensive alignment doesn't do those two things, it's not usable in the outset. This is part of the reason Double Mug continues to dominate in head-to-head. Sure, you'll give up one-play touchdowns at times, but you'll also get plenty of sacks and some picks if the constant pressure rattles the opponent. That nonsense could never happen in the NFL because offensive linemen would absolutely pancake those standing linebackers.
You don't really need to read defenses, either. You just need to keep an eye on the opponent's user, and wait for your receivers' SPD to get them open on crossers and outs. There aren't elite cornerbacks that you have to avoid or scheme around, nor are there edge rushers you especially need to be concerned about. Everyone on the field is the best at their position, and your blocking effectiveness happens on a coin-flip even when you call the correct adjustments.
Every game plays the same because every game is played the same. And that is nothing like real football.

Yep it’s ruined. Why you think so many top players from the past aren’t playing anymore. I’m back after 2 years of not playing and I’m already bored af with it. Like oh a new player dropped, I’m supposed to get excited when it’s just the same shit as last week with a new face. They gotta put some skill into team building, scheming, and real aspects of football. Why you think 2k doesn’t let u just 99 everything, they make u upgrade to your play style. EA needs some pointers on longevity.
Hopefully upcoming abilities and patches help. Ive said it before ive never started from launch, so im still a kid having fun. Im loving this patriots playbook learning one formation for all situations. You guys are clearly good. I still haven't got there lol
