MUT 25 Never Left Beta

I log on today and see a splash screen featuring Quenton Nelson with the headline “Boost your DEFENSE.”  It’s shit like this… the issues with alt uniforms… constant glitches… not offering sets for strats until you got 2 months left before the next title… lineup errors locking people out and still having to go thru odd workarounds every day to trigger receiving your daily rewards… it all feels like this game is still in Beta and I hope for EA’s sake that they turn this around next year. MUT25 was a step backwards. It’s ironic they got another beta coming soon and we’re still dealing with this ineptitude in their final product.

It’s the same shit every year anymore. We begged for this kind of stuff get fixed in the next title for the last 2-3 years and not much has changed. I can say confidently the product has gotten worse each year. I certainly wouldn’t expect it to get better next title.

We've all been saying this "maybe next year" nonsense each and every single year i've been back, which started (casually) in M22, before finding my way to Ultimate Team during M23 cycle.  My goodness, it's become obvious after the whole make or break year that these pig fuckers could not care less about the state of the game.  We're still all out here, a real captive audience, willingly ponying up obscene amounts of cash each and every single year.  This aggression cannot stand, man.

We can only hope that the league will finally open up the exclusivity agreement with Electronic Arts Orlando / Tiburon, because granting this pathetic company monopolistic power is clearly bad for business.  I'm not expecting any other major game company to swoop in and save the day, Take Two Interactive (2K Games?) would be more of the same, of that i'm absolutely certain.  Maybe in the not too distant future a small team of passionate gamers/developers, with some ai bot help, could recreate some approximation of simulation fatball.  Would be a ton of wr0k, but we're basically out of options at this point.  EA will never make a better product when they can keep making billions reselling us literally the same content year after year after year, just have to slap a "Vintage" sticker on it, or "From the Vault" and we'll continue to lap it up.  Uggh.

Thanks @peatrick. Nah my wife’s an interior design savant and made it outta $20-$30 worth of wood trim and brackets :-).

The fact that when you search for players by team (in the auction house or in your binder) the Commanders are still listed as Washington. The only team not listed by team name. This  proves they have been using the same base game since Washington changed its name.

All they do each offseason is adjust the rosters and make a few minor tweaks, which are limited by old code, and then repackage it and sell it as new. 

Think about that. Despite the recent advancements in technology, they have not recreated anything in YEARS! 

And we still buy it every time. 🤦‍♂️
