Wrong. You can't even buy them if you can't get into Ultimate Team, let alone navigate to the store tab and purchase packs.

Wrong. I was able to get to the store and buy the 1 gold coin pack amd do the most feared challenges

You are in the minority, most people earlier were able to little more than open the welcome pack and crashed anytime they tired to open the store tab. Now most people can't even get into Ultimate Team at all.
