Considering 90 percent of football is man on man coverage how is it that this game is run by 10 year olds with zone kos considering I was ranked top 100 last and this season I would think I’m pretty decent but recently it’s been corner route Hail Mary and pray and my kos not working had Kyle Hamilton in the box with deep zone ko and Vernon Davis catches a corner route right in the zone idk if they are punishing man users where it takes more skill to play this game and more user interaction adjustments shading jus setting a player in a 15 - 10 yard flat isn’t skill me Playing mlb or safety lurking you and taking it to the crib is idk why ea changed the meta madden 22 and 23 were man meta now for the past two games it’s been a zone meta ea has to take this game into a different direction whether it be taking abilities out altogether or jus make it’s a chance it could get knocked out not everytime I get touched by a defenders cleat or pinky finger its dropped at The end of the day it’s a game and I tend not to take it so serious but when a person who has never played could hop in a zone with kos and be fine to some of the best players in the world it’s pretty fucking insane
90% of football is man on man? What league is this? Are you talking about flag football?

When your favorite wide receiver and cornerback matchup does he sit in a zone or lineup at the line?
And nah I had lost two very questionable games back in a 5 game streak but still search It up right now what type of defense is played both collegiately and professionally it is primarily man only time you will see zone is on Hail Marys hope someone at ea sees this and has a realization when my favorite wr plays a top cb it’s 1 on 1 not zone

bro the most man NFL heavy teams will run man maybe 60% at most.
NFL has too many great athletes to leave them on an island for a whole game

lol my flag football leagues are 100% zones
same reason they nerfed the run game. Madden 21-22 run was meta and some dude won a bowl because the left handed punter had the faster handoff animation on a specific dive play.
Skill gap is in being able to make quick decisions, and memorize route combos and blocking formulas.
On the flip side calling cover 0 and putting your controller down and watching it box people up because you bought the best corners/safeties in the game takes no skill either. Skill gap on defense is switch stick, and knowing how to correctly place zone defenders to cover what your opponent is running.

It doesn’t take a scientist to know football point being man coverage is the more used scheme in football cover 2 is what Most defenses run unless running prevent

U went to a old post on instagram by a analytics team cover 2 and cover 1 is what your favorite team runs whether u wanna admit it or not all it takes is a google search and it will tell you most teams use man because it allows more blitzers while also providing coverage also it has proven to be more successful through the years also there is post about how the bills have played man coverage the most this year now Most NFL and college teams today use pattern-match, or match coverages, which attempt to merge or give you the best of both worlds of zone and man coverage. The idea is whether you're playing man or zone, you want to get bodies on every receiver as fast as possible and want no receiver going anywhere without a defender right in their grill. Based off the route distribution after the snap, each defender in coverage will either "match" that receiver, "match" another receiver, or play a zone.
Man-match coverages: All defenders in coverage will end up covering someone man to man.
Zone-match coverages: A defender in coverage may either match a receiver or end up playing a zone.
There is more of a tendency to play man coverage in either blitzing or deep passing situations. When blitzing, man coverage helps to make sure at least everyone is covered. In pass situations, many NFL and college teams will play man, with at least one or two deep safeties playing free to help on deeper passes. Man coverage is also seen more in goal-line situations to minimize immediate windows and because defenses are often sending more rushers.
When you play man coverage, defenders have to take their eyes off the QB/box more quickly and will turn WITH receivers to cover them. In zone coverage, defenders are turning/rotating back to cover that allows them to cover their zone while keeping their eyes on the QB/box. Sometimes those turns can be with the receiver as well. Zone coverage is still very popular, because it doesn't require your coverage defenders to run toe to toe with potentially faster/better athletes, and it's nice for run defense, because your cover defenders are keeping their eyes forward more.
Again, with pattern-match coverages and rules though, everything above may not apply, or apply differently based on all the various ways there are to do pattern-match coverage (there are a lot).

A good zone team runs match, which looks like man coverage. Outside corners when pressed are basically man, so you're partially correct I guess.
But no, no nfl team runs 90% man coverage. Zone is not exclusively a prevent defense that statement is wild haha
