It can work pretty good cause all these meta-dependent guys who shove themeselves into their d-line and stuff have absolutley no ability to adjust or read anything. They completely depend on someone elses plays and lineup, so when they play things they haven't seen before if their CPU doesn't stop it they are completely cooked.

I use Lawrence Taylor with Avalanche and pray for people to check the ball down cause they're gonna get obliterated

Lmao just because someone beats your coverage it doesn’t make them a cheater. It’s actually impressive if a player can tell what you are running and then set up a play to beat it. This is what happens in real football. 

You sound like you want to run a defense that can stop everything without making audibles. Learn how the game plays and adapt.

Most of these clowns will continue mindlessly spamming that meta trash until the next madden. People who play like that no longer play for fun even tho they somehow convinced themselves they do, its all just a mindless grind for coins. Seeing these comments are so hilarious, I just started playing MUT right at christmas and my team has only been really "good" for like the past 2 weeks to actually try and run "meta". I didn't really play 25 so I just wanted to see what the meta is and I was trying it out and yea you win games but it is really boring. One thing I will say is that I like running man, not like you get immediate pressure but like I just like running man instead of coverages imo so I think imma keep doing that but yea igu

Yes this play is like an immediate man stopper but if you shade flats down to zero with a OLB that can cover (Jihaad Campbell) then it renders the rb flat useless

I am new to the game. My first year in MUT. I think for the first month understand why some meta plays work and don't. Then find your own style. I was lucky to meet a really friendly welcoming Madden player who showed me lots  of stuff.   I think it's lame that there are thousands of plays to pick but all you see is Bunch x nasty, and trips TE.   Also I don't know why EA is allowing this mugging nonsense. It basically nerfs a majority of under center formations.

Yes Bro, Under Center is so efficient in real life but so garbage in this game

I think its because I prioritize winning more in a game like Madden, every game I hop into I get scum kicked, blitzed 24/7, or just bunch x nasty. Its Semi-Fun to me because Im not running the meta plays 24/7 or I'll run coach suggestions but their should never be in a football game one set ur in for the whole game I feel like their should be a limit
