Sadly, everything is so beyond broken and corrupt, sadly Madden is no exception to that rule.  Uff.  I'd give my left nut for a modern, simulation football title (with or without NFL/NFLPA branding) that is fair, balanced, competitive and FUN!  Absolutely ridiculous no such thing exists, but back to my original point about everything being so corrupt and broken.

In part but not completely.  I am saying the years of commitment should be guaranteed but at least 50% up to 75% of the dollars should be incentive latten based on performance.  Maybe 50% based on player performance and 25% based on team performance.  This would give all the players more skin in the game.

NIL has changed things dramatically, they're not desperate for that first paycheck and can wait for the right deal. Times are changing.

Especially considering retired nfl players have some of the worse retirement benefits compared to other leagues.

Bro forgot about Madden 20

THAT was one of the most fun games I've ever played. Consistent and good content with the new addition of x-factors being super fun. Now I will admit it was very arcade like but that's how games are supposed to be. The only bad thing I can say about this madden was how early the content ended and then skipping out on Summer Blockbusters as a promo

Madden 20 was maybe the worst DDA game they ever put out, it was horrible; the content was horrible cause they didn’t have the rights to a lot of players either. I stopped playing that one so early

Stopped playing that one early eh? They had rights to tons of players and had insane promo releases up until the end of ULs. Game easily had the best x-factor system and while animations played a big factor it was way more fun than any trash that's come out since

Ex. The game had dudes like Navaro Bowman (hasn't gotten a card since), Willie Brown, Ray guy, Taylor Mays, etc

I was mistaken! For some reason I thought 20 was the one with Antonio Brown on the cover, which was a horrific game. I don't think 20 was as bad.

I didn't get into madden 19 until super late so I wouldn't particularly know. But when I did play it the game didn't seem so bad. I strictly remember getting the free 99 ovr JuJu and the Gauntlet challenges being impossible

Honestly Madden 18-22 were some of the worst years for Madden ever. DDA worse than ever in some of those years, and such a lack of control in a lot of the user aspects.

Lack of control as users? These are the maddens where if you switched on it was basically a guaranteed pick and your user could do a 180 in .5 seconds while losing 0 spd
