Lurk Artist?

Is this ability worth it and if so which MLBs get it? I’m thinking about trying it out and doing one MLB next to Simmons instead of 2 SS‘s to see if that helps with the run a little.

It's a legit ability. Only 4 players get it right now though: Robinson, Bernard, Lewis, and Crowder. The good news is that while the first 3 are expensive, Crowder is free.

I have one on Te'o.

I definitely think it's worth it if you have a player who can equip it. With lurk artist, you get a linebacker who jumps like a safety with pick artist for 1 ap. It would take 2 ap to run pick artist on any safety. That's a great deal in my book.

In theory yes it seems like a very reasonable AP and training investment. But I have it on Crowder as 2nd subLB and run mostly nickel and it rarely seems to work or he plays any different. How’s it been on Crowder for others?

Nervous to spend a lot of coins on a MLB so maybe I’ll take the tokens off Barber and try the captain MLB since he’s free. If I can afford the new CB today i wouldn’t have to worry about Barber. 
 

Do you have to user him for the ability to be effective?

My first game with crowder (with lurk artist on) I got a pick 6. I’ve only played three total with him so far, but my initial impression is that he’s usually not quite fast enough or in correct position to make a play on the ball. I’m going to be rebuilding my 25 TT today though which will boost his speed and accel by one, so hopefully that makes a noticeable difference.

Yes, exactly same impression. I’m thinking he may best as a redzone player or when backed up against goal line as he does stop the run pretty well (when he’s able to get there in time). I did get a safety with him against Henry, so maybe that’s the hint

Nope...you don't have to user...my MLB got 4 ints in one game (on four consecutive drives...which led to my opponent conceding (I don't blame him...it was crazy).

Well worth it...I have it on two MLBs...it is really good.

Does anyone know if Lurk Artist is not on ps4? my dave Robinson does not have lurk artist on ps4

I don't think Lurk Artist is on old gen. All the abilities that got added in the season 2 update are current gen only. Unfortunately, it means linebackers aren't as good on old gen as they are on current gen.
