Whats up yall, im looking to get into mcs but need to learn all the ins and outs and detailed things needed to know, like tt lineup help abilities etc. If anyone who does compete that's super chill willing to lab up or give a few pointers hmu. Serious but chill players only. Currently sitting on about 4 mil. But not sure where and who to go with. I rock xbox x gt xghost0369. I play everyday for the most part. Even tryna start up a twitch channel once I get going too 😆
Have to wait till next year it's over for this year!

So there are all kinds of tournaments that are not MCS you can join weekly , that would be a good start in get the feel and pressure . I would join as many as you can from now to summer .  There is actually one tournament left that if you qualify will be in Oklahoma  for 40 K , i believe Mayz has something to do with it .
First things first, I'd go for Top 100 in ranked. Open your wallet up because you will need to invest in your team heavily.

Welcome, welcome. Â I'm by no means a competitive tier player, but if you need any assistance learning the ropes of Madden 2025, there's so many in the community (including myself) who would be more than happy to talk your ear off (or type) to try and help speed run you through the process. Â I set out on my own sorta similar quest a couple/few years back, although surely with far different life circumstances that pointed me here. Â After a lengthy (decade+) break from Madden, I finally started casually tinkering with M22, then by M23 cycle i discovered Ultimate Team.
Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. Â This is an objectively not good game. Â It's a buggy, inconsistent mess. Â Gameplay is probably the worst it's been in years, which is truly saying something. Â The game is decidedly pay to win. Â However, it is possible with some relevant knowledge to field a competitive team on a budget. Â Then there's all the extra time playing MUT menus, building sets, etc. which can be profitable. Â Market knowledge is a separate post, i'm already rambling.
The first order of business is understanding that stats barely matter, abilities are everything. Â Learning what abilities even work is a larger part of the uphill challenge for newer players. Â Very rarely do the actual in-game descriptions match up well with how they perform. Â If you've watched any of the recent MCS streams (i believe the final MCS tourney play is on FEB07 -- be sure to link your EA and Twitch accounts so you can get the free Darrynton Evans).
I'm on PS5 Pro, but i have an Xbox gamer tag as a former PC gamer. Â Holler, more than happy to share what little game knowledge i have, especially things liek team building I could probably point you in the proper direction. Â See what the Comp guys are doing, take parts that fit your play style and start working those into your own routine. Â By August or September when it's time for next cycle of MCS, you'll be cooking.
Feel free to drop in my DMs if that is better/easier/faster. Â I love to bullshit about MUT.
If you aren’t going to compete this year, you probably won’t need the best possible team, so you don’t need to spend a ton of money.
Just get a decent-great team, and play a lot.
I am definitely not a mcs player, but I can help you if you need it.
