Yeah, the greed is too much this year. They already made millions of dollars of game sales, and then to get any LTDs is a minimum of $200 and its not even guaranteed and then all of the step offers. I know some can afford it but the majority cannot. I have yet to receive a single LTD card this entire game have have spent much money that I probably should have but I honestly might take a year or two off from Madden after this one because its only going to get worse. It would even be slightly different if you could buy coins instead of points to get players but even they it would still be $100s of bucks to get a LTD and the worst part is after a week or so they bring out better cards. Example this flashbacks with Chase as an LTD, the Jefferson and Olave 96 are already better than him so why would you spend the money? Then the gameplay like I have read if your doing the events its pretty much whoever draws the ball last will win and to get any event player a minimum of 10 games and then the cpu players has been 21 games is crazy bexause once you get them they are worthless as well.
I only play once every couple years. If you wait till Madden 29, It’ll feel like a new game. New meta. Few years of new rookies. Maybe a new promo.
I haven’t played since 23 and while i see the things that everyone complains about, i dont have as much built up fatigue from playing year after year.

Same here, I played M23 for 3 years. I'm having fun this year, but I don't stress about it as much.

It’s been dog water for years but this year with EAIDS releasing limiteds like candy on Halloween killed it for me. First they walk back their promise on team chems (years ago) then they launch limiteds at the same position for the same team with regularity. Sorry, fuck that.

I feel like this become flag football with 2 minute quarters isn't competitive, I miss real games with 5 minute quarters, Mut 5min h2h is where it's at

Crystals and 32 team chem guys in general have made every team the same to an extent. Last year I’d play against the same broken RB or QB often but everybody had their own team identity

You suggested crafting equipment which is very different and stupid. The pass timing thing is not much different than tackle battles.

those tackle battles are another example but they need to go, there are third party controllers that allow you to win those situations by automatically completing those “repeat-press-button” functions for you
they def need to add a stamina bar/wear-down indicator so we can see when a hit stick might be more worth the risk and a standard tackle—they already have somewhat similar indicators on the O-line, at one point i have seen a battery icon on long snapper and the text “Gas guzzler” on another player with no explanation

I typically don’t play Madden until at least Thanksgiving, so I’m not bored yet. But in years past I would switch to the more realistic online H2H outside of MUT if I got to this point.
