this house rules runs until March 26th, already profited 4+ mill last few days from it.. might just skip ranked and champs to only grind this mode for the next month
Yeah spending a ton of time for a already mid card that we would have to wait a month for and some coins is crazy
Agreed. Mut is always more enjoyable when there's a fun event to grind.
Wish the event was fun for me. Seems like the most broken game mode I've ever played. Guess it's just a sweaty cheese fest that's beyond my skill level.

Same...I have a very good team but not great. If you don't know how to exploit the meta you're toast in this mode...that's my biggest complaint of this mode vs a regualar h2h. It's all about exploitation rather than a game of football

Yeah I always get to 2-3 wins then face a cheeser I can’t stop

Wouldn’t necessarily call this event fun. If it was just getting 9 wins overall instead of in a row I’d be playing it even more.

I really enjoyed the Superbowl H2H event, that five game run or whatever felt much more reasonable -- i have an above average team and i continue to struggle. I'll get through five or six wins, then inevitably choke from something silly or stupid, often beyond my control. Although i haven't been playing great, my offense is sputtering and struggling at times, so i'll own the fact that i'm just plain bad. But there's been better events. Everything is just so lazy these days. I get it, the Dev team is fully on to Madden 26 (and has been for months at this point).
I'll keep trying.

I do the solo seasons from time to time just to help grind stats and earn more packs. They haven't even updated the rewards since Most Feared which shows you how lazy they are or just certain aspects of the game they just ignore.

By the way, see what I meant about them releasing QB's that might change your mind over taking Maye as your free card? Did you end up getting Maye or someone else?

I actually JUST chose Brian Thomas Jr. I really really really love that Baker Mayfield (and now Drake Maye) custom QB Release style... but the stack Bo Nix gets is just too good to go backwards. And the majority of my focus remains on defense, as that's what i play (Defensive Coordinator) for our little Squads trio.
While the velocity abilities (SFL/PLE) aren't that impactful and there are no truly awful release types this year (as opposed to last year, when Mahomes and so many others were essentially unusable due to the hitch in their throwing motion, which caused massive delays getting the ball out quickly), i still wasn't prepared to give up a 4AP stack comprised of;
- Run & Gun
- Gift-Wrapped
- Conductor
- Gunslinger
- Backyard QB
- Pass Lead Elite
Three Quarters 2 (Bo Nix) isn't bad enough for me to give up the velocity and X-factors. Pocket Deadeye would make more sense for my particular play-style (i'm essentially a statue in the pocket), but eventually i get the timing down, where i can reliably throw perfect blue passes without needing an ability... obviously not on every play, but enough that i'd rather tinker with those silly deep bombs, via Run & Gun.

Nice. Yep with QB's they love making them obsolete fast but I think either way you went you would have ultimately been okay. Glad you found your QB number 1 and hey...you can get rid of him now if you want. =P I am definitely curious to see how Lamar's TOTY card will compare to these latest QB options.

I don't see how any of the TOTY content compares with this juiced up Combine stuff... which feels equally, if not moreso overpowered than even Zero Chill and Superbowl combined. Highly doubtful that TOTY gets any X-factors as passive abilities, nor anything that starts ON. Not to mention, there seems to be a whole heck of a lot of repetition in these cards. So silly, but EA gonna EA and giving the community the opportunity to have their own input means we're typically in for a mess.
Who knows, i suspect before all is said and done, i'll wish i had that Drake Maye in my binder. Both cards were fantastic at the time they were created, but the game continues to evolve and the meta shifts forward.
