The same way people have been data mining PC games for years, it's a complicated process and not something somebody would likely take the time to explain to you. Also it's technically illegal.

I'm fully aware of how data mining works, so I won't need that process explained. My question is: Why is EA pushing unreleased data to a computer sometimes weeks in advance so that the data can be read and extracted? The claim implies gross negligence on the part of EA, and also seems inconsistent with standard content update management practices used in the industry.

Is gross negligence really so hard to believe considering what we've seen from the EA Madden Team for years.
