I lowkey rediscovered this place again after a whiiiile of being gone and i was wondering is madden is maybe worth playing again i dont have 26 so i was considering getting it just in case its not crap like 24 and 25 😭 i’ve been grinding college football 25 tho that game is freaking goated!

It’s almost to unbearable time, save your monies
This game rewards the cheesers more than ever, and the cheesers are more entrenched in their cheesiness, with no remorse whatsoever.
Madden has improved in a number of ways, even if only incrementally, but the rate of improvement is more than negated by the rapid rate that glitches are discovered or reintroduced into the game, and therefore exploited by the community at large.
Consider getting in at the beginning of the MUT 27 cycle if you want to scratch that football itch. The cheap stuff isn't as damaging or pervasive early on.

It’s more $$$$ than ever before. Take 24 an 25 and multiply by 10. Multiple alternate currencies… new step up offer mechanic… additional field passes that unlock by not completing in-game objectives but by … wait for it… buying and opening packs to earn content exclusive to it. Yeah… it sucks. 🤦🏻♂️

I don't know that i would pay money to play a game on Luna, it was fine for offline play, but i didn't really dive in a sufficient amount to see how any online game modes performed. Was curious if it'd even run on my little budget mini PC workstation (i7-12650H, 32GB RAM) but it was just fine. At the end of the day, the game is basically unchanged. There's a ton of lipstick on the proverbial Madden 26 pig, but it's still the same buggy ass, inconsistent mess you experience throughout prior game years. Same janky FrostBite 3.x game engine, same bugs and glitches, many of which have persisted for years upon years, but now cards are even more expensive than they've ever been (to the point of making my eyes bleed), guys are getting auction house banned left and right for trying to fund their lineups. Oh and the best skill move is the new (to M26) speed boost glitch. At least we're not having to contend with 360 pounders spinning and twirling their way into the endzone, but it's as bad as it's ever been, while looking prettier than ever.
Menus are still laggy as hell, despite numerous patches. Disconnects & Desyncs galore. Server instability for days. But if you love the Bunch X Nasty simulator and dudes sending 7(+) pass rushers on every snap, then boy do we have the game for you! Welcome back. I'm still having a blast (most evenings) playing Squads with the boys, but it's nothing shy of a Christmas miracle that i haven't smashed a controller in a fit of nerd-rage.

College football 25 is way better than college football 26 but coming from someone who quit madden after like season 3 last year it’s way better this year imo
