I find it useful when guys spam the run formation every play. Is there any way to keep using it without triggering the desync?
no, just dont use it lol
Wait so what and how is a desync happened to me last night for the first time

Something about them doing certain audibles while Film Study is active causes the game to glitch out and gives a desync
I haven't found a way to stop it other than taking the Film Study player off the field
1. Don't use it
2. If you do use it, don't hold it open and watch your opponent do hot routes, just open it to check initial play and then let it go so you don't see the play art
3. If you see it activated for your opponent to see your play, avoid doing hot routes and adjustments, just run your play or don't activate it by changing your play calling up.

Why cant EA fix simple glitches? I mean the pipeline of idiots spending money should halt until they have their game in a functioning state no?

You would think but everyone still spends so the message is sent that issues like this aren't that important to the player base. We're willing to work around it, it seems.

Because fixing game-breaking bugs and glitches only impacts OUR game. Electronic Arts is not a video game company, at least not a serious one -- they might as well be investment bankers, or whatever. Corrupt ghouls, is probably more accurate. If it doesn't improve their pack sales, they literally give zero fucks about putting any amount of time or effort into making things better for us. Madden prints money for them, due to the exclusive NFL licensing agreement.
A functioning game is not required to make them money, we have zero other choices for NFL video games and they know it.
