They simply don't build NBA sized players, or if they do (Will Clapp, for example), they move and turn too slowly. Clapp is probably fine, but if i need to click on to him in run defense, it's far from ideal. Those big player models lumber around the field. They're great if you just want to run in a straight line, but THE moment you have to turn on a dime, you might as well be stuck in quicksand.
I also glanced at Mack, he could be good... but i refuse to give up that extra height. If i didn't have Spice Adams at CB4 (Slot2), i'd almost certainly be playing Darnell Washington as an outside corner and might consider Mack or Ruke at SS.
Ok thank you. I agree 💯 with the height. Seems to be too good to pass on but they don't get reinforcement and that's my main inquiry. Didn't know if the height tradeoff was worth the quick run block shed.
