Curious what percent of players are committed to theme teams this year. Haven't played MUT in several years but picked it up this year and have been dialed in since the start of the year. Seems like chems matter more than when I played previously, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention to them. I play a lot with my brother now and we both have 60+ chem theme teams (Falcons and Vikings). I know that the very best teams probably all have the best players in the game, but I honestly just enjoy the aspect of having a lot of Falcons guys. Please let me know below if you are prioritizing a theme team and how many chems you have for it.

Usually its mostly TT but if someone has OP abilities theyll run that until everyone runs the same teams because abilities evened out.

The meta this year is picking a base theme team (for me the Ravens), and getting 50 chem from that, then stacking a 2nd theme team (whichever the current promo is, so like ZC or Ghosts right now) for 20.
This gets you +3 speed along with various other boosts.
So yeah, to answer your question - theme teams are definitely the meta this year, primarily because there are so many free 32 Team cards. I've always been a theme team guy so this year is nothing different other than I get to use more cards than usual since creating the TT is easier.
