Is Madden 26 good right now?

Saw it on sale  for $50. I mostly play MUT but did not keep up with how it's been received so far. Is it better than MUT 25 or worse as of now? Just looking for some general thoughts from people who have invested time into the game in this community.

The gameplay is really good...but H2H has so much RNG

it's fun but you're pretty helpless on defense if you're playing someone with any offensive skill.

Certainly better than Madden 25. The new presentation is nice. Most modes are improved compared to last year. But it’s still the same old buggy Madden. Play for 30 minutes and you’ll find a bug.

Gameplay’s better than past years. But it’s way too offensive oriented. Even if you’re good at defense you can’t get a stop for your life unless you resort to the dreaded nano blitz. Agg catches also really need to be toned down.

Ultimate Team’s also improved due to the new events tab. But it hasn’t become any less P2W than years past.

Game is great. Very addictive.

I've already played more online than I did all of M25. It's in a solid state right now.

Thanks for the information. So far, it seems pretty positive from what I've heard here and from another smaller Youtube person I trust. I appreciate you all answering.

It’s really only agging and very hard to play defense driving it down

packs are horrible as always 

but FOR SURE it’s better then 25

It early madden cycle (no good abilities, slow speed cards, if you have a good team you can feel it, qb and user are at decent enough point where you can do everything you need it too).  Usually this is when every madden is "good" before the OP abilities, 6'8" OOP players, and Lit up X-factors and stuff start happening.  Cover 0 man blitzes arent good this year, and that usually is what makes certain early madden years "bad".  alot of the gltiches have been patched.

Defense is tough om H2h. I think lag has a lot to do with it but what u going to do. It's great fun playing mut.

dont call the mondays content drops when they drop 2 cards the are ungetable, Wednesday yah i guess its a content drop especially yesterday but Saturday is only a content drop if the legends are usable nice try.

I agree that defense is tough but if you look at actual nfl games the past couple years, defense is trash there as well lol. It’s a pass heavy league.
