with the price of Willis and Robinson… is lurk artist really all that? I’ve been a safety user since madden 17 (post shaziers beastly MLB card) 

With Pola-mao coming out, is using a linebacker really worth it over him? 89 speed, 91 COD, 90 AGI

Looking for opinions and reviews on the ability - saying really all that looks hella condescending, not intended boys. Just sceptical due to LBers historically being a minority

I think lurk artist is all that. I believe Willis and Robinson are probably all that, and in fact I view Robinson as the best card in the game but I'm NMS so it's still not necessarily worth it for me. Robinson has 88 speed, 90 cod, 91 agi and Willis has 89 speed, 91 cod, 86 agi. So they're right up there with the best safeties in the game physically.

Personally, I think Lurk Artist is one of the best deals in the game AP wise. Probably second to HRM. Previously, if I wanted to run lurker and pick artist I'd have to spend 4 ap. Heck if you want to run pick artist on any other player it's 2 ap so you're saving there too.  Now it's only 1 ap for players with lurk artist. 

Also I believe there was something in one of the gridiron notes last year about linebackers reacting to run plays faster. Not sure if that's in the game this year, but it's something else to consider.

Now is all of that worth it. Maybe. It really depends on your situation. As someone who would be spending most of my coins on either of them, I don't think it's worth it for me.

I changed from Berry to Crowder and in 3 games he had 5 picks with 2 p6s. Hes been a beast for me.

Do you user the clam chowder, or let him roam on his own? That low speed concerns me so personally I go with Barber but I think any of the 3 usual options are fine depending on what you like.

Dependss on the play. I also have Troy P in the box too

You really have to know/have an idea how they are going to throw to in the area. I usually leave him in a QB contain if I dont user him but again, just have to have an idea where it is with his speed.

Lurk artist is a great value ap wise.   It makes lbs viable.  The real reason people want lbs in the field now is because that helps you keep the adaptive AI to stop the run. 

That being said, if you can shoot the gaps and are comfortable stopping the run with sub lb safeties, there's not really a reason to change to lbs.

It really depends on if you need that help with stopping the run or not as to why you would overpay for lbs over safeties.  That and the fact that the most expensive lbs have better man coverage than safeties.

Lurk artist is very good. Also for 1 AP can’t beat it

Adaptive AI won’t work against people who use multiple TE on field I usually have 3 TE on field with 5 OL . 5 OL + 3 TE = 8 so you would need combined 8 LB + DL to counter, almost impossible to do.

What is this adaptive AI thing?

I don't bother with adaptive AI.  Easyenough to stop the run without it against most. 

Toters have a field day against people who refuse to change to base D.  Unless someone is really good, I can stop the run fine from nickel and higher formations.   If they're good at running though, I will need to switch down to base D but that's not many. 

The people who refuse to switch it up are the ones who will need the adaptive ai help against your 3 te sets lol.

Oh ok. So if you come out on dime, your defense should be playing the pass so the players will react that way? Which means it could be ran on pretty much
