Generally when something malfunctions . A play that's not easy to stop is not one . Now that being said it is annoying to play someone who runs the META play/plays over and over again but not a glitch .

Meta plays ARE glitches. That’s why they are Meta plays. A Meta play would have had to have been created on purpose to be a Meta. The plays and issue with Madden, are glitches.

If you spent half the time learning football instead of watching YouTube for the latest glitch plays, you’d be good. Teams with 99 players losing their ass to teams with 91-92 players is embarrassing. You should be ashamed…mommy would be too!
😩 here we go again
Yeah, but I’m not a kid… I’m 27 lmao. Some people just don’t have time to play fam. I was captain of a state runner up football team and watch hours upon hours of football every week and still get slapped in Madden by inferior teams. It’s really not a big deal. Some people play this, 2k, CoD, and other games too plus work and go to school full time and raise kids. Really no place for this.

This is hilarious to me -- kids who have a ~thousand dollar MUT squad, but can't even complete a pass that is beyond the line of scrimmage. The entire defensive "philosophy" is to send 6-7 pass rushers and hope to overwhelm your opponent. They can't make any actual reads, so i'm sure they're constantly amazed when a quick dump off to the RB in the Flats ends up going for 75 yards and a score.
I used to be fearful of dudes with top ranked teams, but there's maybe a couple/few hundred players on the entire planet who have an elite squad and elite gameplay experience. Team building is a real skill. Simply understanding which abilities even work is also some skill gap stuff. As you pointed out, you can't "git gud" if you do not even comprehend or grasp the basics of the great game of football.
I blame Steph Curry for ruining hoops, every twelve year wants to drain forty foot shots all day long and have zero concept of how much practice and skill it'd take... even then, these are NOT ever going to be high percentage shots. Essentially ruined the game of basketball, Step is a 1 of 1 type unique generational talent. I'm not capable of teaching middle schoolers how or why they're not going to drain shots from a few steps inside half court. I'm sure it's always been a bit of a struggle to get kids to want to focus on the fundamentals -- but it seems the art of teaching these games has been lost. It's also entirely possible i'm just a grumpy old man, seriously out of touch -- but doubtful.
Once upon a time, Madden was intended to be a resource to help teach this great game. Sadly, that is no more.

Yeah, you're absolutely correct here -- we need to clearly differentiate between actual football and Madden. These are NOT the same thing. As much as i wish we were playing real simulation fatball, this is nothing of the sort. The knowledge is rarely transferable, beyond the absolute basics, such as understanding route trees, or basic coverage concepts. It doesn't hurt to have real football knowledge, but more often than not, it can almost be a disservice. Not a damn thing about this game resembles real football.

Wrong , META stands for "Most effective tactics available " . Glitches are when something is malfunctioning . For example when the 49ers starting running the west coast offense in the 80's a lot of other teams started to run variations of that offense because of how effective it was . Like I said its annoying at times to play people who spam those plays but they are not unstoppable . To be honest I struggle more vs off meta people than I do the META spammers . With the META spammers I know what's coming and have seen so often that I have a decent idea how to defend it but off meta guys might take 3 quarters before I get a good read on what they are doing if at all .
When the most effective tactic is a glitch play, which is a meta play…you might start to see the issue here?

I agree. The game declined in to a joke at this point. They clearly don’t care about football or their customers enjoyment. It’s all about getting people to buy as many packs as possible. The stupid ass YouTubers don’t help with those videos “These packs are fire”. Like we’re supposed to believe they don’t get any compensation for saying THAT.

Does it ever stop? Has the game improved? Please fill my in on why this bothers you? Similar to a TV, you can simply choose not read the post, much less take the time to comment on it. As long as the game sucks big fat donkey balls, complaints will be a large part of it. Thank you for reading this post also.

Sounds like a half hearted Al Bundy post there, although there is no mention about the number of touchdowns you scored in one game…
