Honestly if you stay off of here, you'll stay away from Madden. This app is the thing that brought me back. I was curious to try out different cards I'd see posted on here.

I'm a huge Castlevania nerd,so I spend sometime playing that or Dead Cells. Never played any other sports games. Not much time to play though, my family takes up alot of my time.

Believe it or not I skipped entire year of Madden 25 (but bought for my nephew as bday gift as I do every year) & I still visit MUT.GG almost on daily basis. MUT.GG has kept me up to date on everything going on in game & it actually has been kind of fun not having any temper tantrums during /after playing game, not having to buy new controller(s) when one happens to travel at high rate of speed & make contact with an object, usually a wall of floor..

i was off for 2 years because i realized i had a problem, i was addicted. and with a family of 5, i spent wat too much time in my 40's on a silly video game. if i was a content creator making some kind of income from it, i could justify the hours everyday, playing, studying, learning, focusing on this huge waist of time. i had to give up fantasy football as well, these are games about a game where they get rich and i don't. there's nothing wrong with it if it doesn't run your life, but i have a problem. about 2 or 3 years ago, i got sucked back in, and yeah its fun but man i regret it.  I'm PS4, so i got a good reason to hang it up for good at 46 :) wow. have fun but be carefull

Quit MUT 21/22/23/25 MUT isn't enjoyable when it's just 1-play spam. What's the point of playing MUT if it's just going to be spam every play?

I'm trying to put my money where my mouth is, but it'll take a good bit of luck and perseverance.  Thankfully it's summer and there's other things to fill my time.  Maybe i'll revisit some movies or TV shows i've had building up, or perhaps i'll check out that Elden Ring expansion i've been promising myself i'd finish (well, start) for a year or two.  Heck, if all else fails, i'm sure there's Nightreign for me to check out.

There's a ton of legit good games and media out there, sadly, this is not one of them.  We all deserve SO much better for our $100 annually.  I've played M26 Closed Beta (for a weekend) and it's the same basic game, with roster updates and a bunch of lipstick on the proverbial Madden-pig.  Anyone expecting this to be the "best" Madden ever, clearly does not have a robust knowledge of game history to compare and contrast to.  I assure you we won't be missing out.

Past couple years i've been well over the 1500 hour mark, it's gotten pretty pathetic.  Time to scale things back a bit, oof.

Ngl, its a tough thing to do if you have a football addiction like i do haha

It’s fun while for awhile but needing to spend money to upgrade your squad was bs and then when EA removed the trading block, I said deuces ✌🏽

I usually skip a year… I’ll still be playing 25 thru to 27.

Yeah...that definitely reads like he may have an actual addiction to Madden which is problematic... hopefully they can sort themselves out and break a habit...Madden is definitely not worth having an extreme urge to play even when you do not want to...

First, frame it right in your head. What you have is an addiction. You have to think of it that way to remember how important it is to stick to your plan. Like with most addictions, the more distance you create, the easier it is to stay away. The biggest steps are understanding the seriousness behind the desire to play, and then starting to make the conscious decision not to play. After that, it becomes easy-ish.

Just for context, I skipped 23, quit playing 25 a few months ago, and will be skipping 26+

Im skipping next year. Terrible customer support and the same bugs that have been in the last 3 maddens. I can find plenty of other games to buy. If I get an itch for football, I will play M25 franchise or Mutant League FB. Its only 7 on 7, but its fun enough.
