Yeah EA is dumb and doesn’t know how to make games. You gotta either restart from a fresh lineup or find the player that had the c factor on before an disable it.

The problem is in your special teams. Go into the roster tool and generate a lineup for special teams only. Do it to generate special teams by chemistry. This will fix the problem, but you will have to go back to special teams to insert the players you really want in there. Happens all the time to me. This game is a real dumpster fire.

Yes, it's possible, but only if you can happen to recall the previous player that occupied the third and final X-factor spot. Took me two days (last night and into today) before i could guess and check and figure out the mysterious "missing" third X-factor. Typically this happens because the game is a buggy ass pile of shit, but it's a result of having removed the X-factor from a previous card, for example, if instead of DEACTIVATING that 3rd (of 3) X-factor spot, you go to the card and refund it, while the slot was active.
This causes huge grief and the game doesn't really know how to recover from it. I was trying to bumble my way through to resolve that without having to start fresh with a brand new lineup. If you cannot recall the specific player/card that used to hold the third X-factor spot, you'll probably need to create a fresh lineup and start from scratch. What a disaster. Basic features barely function.

I’m telling ya guys. This is the problem and the easiest fix. Sounds crazy that special teams is effing up the X factors but it is. So again. Generate a special teams line up only. Go back and fix your X factors. And then go back and fix the shit scrubs the cpu put into special teams.

It’s not specifically STs, it happens when u take out a player off your main roster while they still have their X-Factor activated, they could be in your binder or on STs or Specialists as well. For some reason Madden still registers the X-F even when theyre not on your lineup.

Agree. It’s not special teams that’s the problem. However the fIx I explained is the easy fix. Give it a try.
