Hey everybody, sorry i'm late to the party -- busy weekend.  Thanks so much for the extremely kind words.  Boy was i sure surprised to wake up and see my notifications flooded with such positive mentions.  There were numerous people in this community who did the exact same thing for me back during M22-M23 seasons when i first returned to our beloved John Madden football franchise after an extremely long break.  The game was overwhelming and confusing and none of the in-game menus or descriptions seemed to make any darn sense.  I was fortunate enough to find my way here to this great site and have an entire community embrace my desire to learn.

I set a goal to become uhhh "competitive" at this once great game we all want to love.  Now i'm trying to pay it forward and help educate newer players, while continuing to learn and grow right along side the rest of you.  This really is a community effort, we're all trying to improve our game(s) together.

It warmed my heart when one of you referenced a post and thread from M24 about certain abilities which were relevant again.  I know we're not supposed to dig up those ancient threads, but life is funny and things are often cyclical.  End-game Madden is a special time in the year, it's not for everyone, but this is where i thrive.

The only thing that sets me apart from everyone else is i'm old and tend to have the benefit of a full 104+ key keyboard, from an actual desktop PC and significant amounts of time to ramble about a range of topics.  I can be a bit of an acquired taste, some of you may either love me or hate me, but you'll never have to wonder about where i stand on a topic.  I wear my emotions on my sleeve, for better or for worse.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has helped to teach me, who has shared your own insights and team building strategies and philosophies and especially those of you who call me out when i get things wrong (either politely or otherwise).  I'm old enough to be from the Web 1.0 era, when the goal was to democratize information and share it freely among everyone, not lock it behind some $20 per month paywall and divide ourselves up into smaller and smaller communities.

Probably silly and cliche, but knowledge is power.

Agreed. 🙌 have always enjoyed @peatrick’s helpfulness but more so his positivity!

I posted a general reply when I initially saw this delightful message, but wanted to return the favor as it has come to my attention that not everyone was properly and directly thanked.

We all started somewhere. And oddly enough, now days, with all the abilities on d-linemen, d-line users give me the most trouble. I can generally manipulate someone if they are usering a LB or safety, but it seems like the d-line users, regardless of what abilities I have on my line, and regardless of who I identify and double team, the d-line users get insta pressure on me.

Peatrick is the shit! Always always always willing to help and take the time to accurately and in great detail help in any question I or someone else has. Seems like a wonderful guy as well.

I really like to use a d lineman. Really the only shot I have. If I see someone that doesn't have Omni or identifier I'm instantly usering the line.

Harold Landry gets so much instant pressure for me if I move him slightly over on edge to get a better angle that swim move is so nasty.
