I HATE THIS GAME!!!

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO COMPETITION?!!!

I had to slog through a game that was honest at first, but when things got tight, dude resorted to varied and mostly-automatic RPO's. I kept him out of the end zone, and drove the field afterward. But what the freakin' heck?!! If the dudes aren't cheating me out of a hard-earned win, the game is. This is not a forced error. It's just a coin flip. And this crap has been happening to me all year.

Yea it's ridiculous. I was almost 4 and 0 on house rules. And on 4th and a mile he got a fake punt 70 yard toss for td. The. After that it was all 3 4 cross blitz and I had no idea how to block it or even move the ball

I hate some of these rpo I can’t stop them it’s frustrating

I guess because extraordinarily stupid things happen to this game’s users every day, and in times of need, this community has members that rally around the injured.

I don’t recall seeing your name heading a gripe thread. I’m glad you haven’t yet reached your threshold of pain when it comes to this game.

The head-to-head game is actually fun for me somewhere between 50-90% of the time, with the ranges being determined by how often I’m permitted to play a game that resembles football. It’s fun playing legitimate games, satisfying to tally a victory against a cheeser, and of course, antagonizing to lose to someone who is out to win at all costs by playing in a manner that doesn’t resemble football at all. But above all, to play out all of a game on the presumption of a reward for winning, and having that ultimately determined by an algorithm that determines that you lose (although you played well enough to win) is the antithesis of competitive play.

YES! These RPO flat's are ridiculous. Super annoying. Man + Zones nothing works.

Because dudes love to come to this forum to rage about a game that has so many damn glitches and exploits. We are in a phase of the game where your whole offense could consist of lineman at WR, QB, TE, and RB. Meanwhile your QB could be a CB or SS.  What do you guys expect when its straight cheese mode.

Players at different positions is irrelevant.. The RPO play that is impossible to defend with any of the options the game gives us what is cheesy and broken...

You bitching about an RPO when there are way to stop it. Run man press and cross the slot and the safety.  

For all the people complaining about the looping. There are ways to stop that. For people that complain about the HB pass there is a way to stop that.  

Now when people were stem glitching. I can totally get that being an issue. You can't stop it.

It doesn' t feel like a football game any longer. The objective is to come up with the best glitch or just make a team full of OOP players. I want to feel like I'm playing football.

Hard flat the nickel/dime DB directly over him

Put the safety on that side wider than that DB covering him.  Ideally between the outside CB and the inside CB over the slot WR.  You have to manually change the read key on that play. Sometimes Madden will show you the art (look for the R icon), but most of the time it won't.  You'll just have to guess.  Guess wider if needed.

You'll  have to manually do this.  Get ready to get quick snapped and switch stick over off that DB if so. 

Your job is to cover seam streaks if they run verts instead.  Don't user that slot CB.

Cross the slot cb assignment w the safety assignment? I run man press so that could be ideal...

Hard flat the slot corner? and just move Safety outside? lot of times its the TE...

Preach, brother.  Hell, an actual "coin flip" would be welcome at this point, it'd increase our odds tremendously, heh.  Those FG block animations are liek maybe 1 in 100, perhaps significantly less.  What a bad beat, dude, sorry you had to go through that.  It's always something.

And at the end of the day, all of us out here in Madden-land end up being the assholes, because we're delusional enough to want a fair, competitive, hopefully balanced and fun modern H2H fatball experience.  Uff.

I just wanna play simulation football, which is obviously NOT the same thing as whatever this Madden stuff has become, uggh.  Kill me.
