How to stop Huddle GG pop up?

Anyway to stop that huddle gg pop up from coming up all the time? super annoying when trying to search this site.

You see it on mobile, or just desktop?  I'm not sure what it'd take, if you disable JavaScript, that'll almost certainly break other things on this site.

Maybe try to poke around with these various Site Settings (assuming you use Chrome/Chromium based browser):

Upon closer inspection, apparently it's not possible to completely remove videos from auto-playing.  I often disable sound from playing automatically, here's how you'd achieve that:

1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. In the left pane, click on Privacy and Security.
4. Scroll down and click on Site Settings.
5. Scroll to the bottom and click on Additional Content Settings.
6. Select Sound.
7. Toggle the option to Don't Allow Sites to Play Sound to prevent audio from playing automatically.

If you want to completely stop videos from auto-playing, you can use a third-party extension liek AutoplayStopper (i have NOT used or tested this personally, just results of a quick web search):

• Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for AutoplayStopper.
• Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
• Once installed, the extension will prevent videos from auto-playing on most websites

And for the love of all that is holy, get yourself some type of ad-blocker.  I don't know how people use the modern internet without ad-blocking.

I think the official word would be to subscribe or whatever they offer for an ad free experience. 
 

I use a VPN with an ad blocker built in to stop it  The ad placement is really irritating if you try to use the player search function - and probably intentionally so.
