Yeah, that's how everything works. People are and always are the problem. This is why things have to be set up a certain way to be fun. In this case, the fact that the grind is so miserable makes players not want to waste any time along the way, so they look for whatever meta cheese will get them the most wins fastest, because every loss extends the grind.

This is 100% a situation EA has created and it is entirely up to EA to correct it, which they won't.
