How much of a difference does pursuit make for safeties?

Trying to pick between Lynch and Chancellor for my 98 BND ROH player. I have a 55-20 Bears-Bucs TT, so I'm leaning toward Lynch, but his 87 pursuit rating is giving me second thoughts.

Pursuit is a very important def stat unless youre clicking on. Everything is more about abilites this late though so whichever one gives you better/free abilities.

Iv’e stopped worrying about the pursuit stat because the pursuit angles are so broken/bad. My guy with 99 everything including pursuit takes the same horrible pursuit angles as every1 else. They programmed defenders to run to where the player was 2-3 steps ago it makes no sense
